Im having a bit of trouble installing the mod. Windows 7, Rebellion 1.52. Located the mod folder and extracted the zip file to the location. When i go to enable the mod it shows up, but then a mini dump occurs and crashes the game. I can provide the DMP file if that would help.
Disregard my last post, think the zip got corrupted in the first download.
Team,
Is there a viable Rebellion version? the SOA20.6.5R.7z and the SOA20.6.5R(1).7z patch both show check sum zero and I've tried downloading multiple times.

Did you extract them?
Did you even enable them? Since that is the Rebellion version.

Yes and yes. Both show check sum zero in the mod folder after being unpacked. I've had success with previous iterations of SOA2, could a team member double check the linked file?
I want to see the path to our GameInfo folder, blank out your user name if you like

we have average 100 DLs a day or more, I am guessing it's on your end
The user name is the code to the universe. The peasantry must not know of its existence!
Made my account to say thankyou for making this mod. Always liked startrek, kinda sad Sci-Fi in general has died out, on TV at least.
Also, thankyou for not making the Intrepid a weak little scout vessel I would never want to build. I actually liked Voyager and think the ship fits nicely were its at in the game.
Glad you enjoy it.
The Intrepid was kind of a "What the hell can we do with this ship?" problem. It was meant to be a small explorer type to supplement the Galaxy class. However the thing is armed to the teeth (and can build infinite amounts of shuttles
). A support role was best it. However when Diplomacy was released the Akira was moved from the Heavy Cruiser slot to the Anti Module slot. So it was natural that the Intrepid take its place. Not that sins role types mean anything in the mod. It was more for research.
I am guessing it's on your end
Very possible I recently moved to a new country and have noticed all sorts of IP related hijinks... I'll add it to the growing list of things to figure out how to overcome. Thanks, at least I now have strong circumstantial evidence it is my end.
Is there a way to get that Starfleet Command Icon smaller or script it to be smaller on mobile devices?
What's a mobile device?
How much smaller, don't suppose the 'devices' take screen shots?
What's a mobile device?
Cell phone then. I have an iPhone currently.

looks like no amount of shrinking is going to help that
how about 60% size and semi transparent? Not sure if I want to get rid of it for damned i-whatever.
If this was not a PC game, maybe.
Pretty sure it will end up looking like that on all smartphones, not just iPhones. Smartphones are a great way to read forum topics when you're not at home on your PC.
I'd just make it transparent.
Forums are PC games? who knew!
Forums are the best games because it's usually easier to swim in delicious tears.
How is ai in this mod?
By reading trough thread a bit I know it depends on races especially if said race is Borg but is cruel as hard as cruel in Rebelion or what is comparison like?

I guess I would have to actually play the stock game, but I don't. I just want the Iron Engine to make a game I like.

Considering the AI levels are hard coded they'll get the same cheats in a mod as they do in Vanilla.
Thx Zombie and Myfist.
What I was asking I guess is if there are same types of ships as in vanila or are for instance scouts from vanila replaced with some utility ship that is supposed to play support role. I just don't want AI scouting me with what is playing role of HC in your mod
I guess I can DL mod and see it for myself anyway....
The mod is AI friendly. Little point in designing a mod the AI can't play, since nearly everyone with the game doesn't play multiplayer.
There are some things the AI can't do, like use fleet cloaking and decloaking in a tactically effective manner, but vanilla Sins has major AI shortfalls in this area itself.
