The Queen of Thorns should be taken a little more siriously! You plan to allow her to heal allied towers? Well, I guess that she has had a change of heart! Oh dear, is she getting every allied demigod some christmas presents too?
I don't mean to be harsh at all, but please think carfully. The Queen of Throns should take part in being an ally by providing a strong attack frontier for her team, she's no backstage nurse.
I actually agree with this*, but not really sure with the rest of things. Still, the idea:
Like priests, they should also have a minor ability that allows them to root themselves with with the unit/demigod/tower that they are attacking and steal 3% of their current hear.
is not so bad, but only if they(shamblers) would keep their range att.(so no melee please), and be able to do 'root themselves with the' demigods & general minions only (not other creeps or towers) and do that only (randomly) if being attacked by(or very near to) meele enemies (so grabbing them, rooting them in place= just slowing their speed actually & reducing their health per second(doing dot))
But this is not the good place or time for suggesting this 'revolutionary & never-will-happen' kind of ideas. (I could also say that even your Lusting Scent isnt that bad idea when you think of Qot character/story)
*i never really liked that uproot idea of healing your own towers(heck, even Obscenitor whose idea it was said about it:
Yeah, really the uproot idea is the least interesting and useful change. There's two reasons why I didn't suggest something more radically different:
First of all is that my idea would require no new animation. Making the ability into something else which targets units/DGs would almost definitely require some new visual effects.
Second is that QoT has enough attack spells and mana is a major issue as-is. Whatever other effect you want to see wrapped into a new version of Uproot could be tied to Spike Wave, Ground Spikes, Mulch, shamblers' auto-attack, or even as an open-form autoattack special effect.
Uproot is not a cool ability. As long as it's focused on buildings, whether it heals them, harms them, confuses them, stuns them, deals AoE damage around them, etc. it's never going to be useful in the vast majority of fights, but some players still like that kind of thing and no DG can really handle casting more than 3 spells anyway.
it's really in contrary with the nature of 'uproot' word meaning itself. Uproot is to uproot/destroy, not to heal. I can add Playground's comment about Uproot too:
Or netural towers, there's already an item for that, an item that anyone can buy. Or you can just buy FS1 and some tp's and make sure you never lose a tower to begin with via teamwork and communication.
anyway, move on to next: (about sigils)
or instead of losing all health but 1 health, your current health should drop down to 10% of ur max health.
I can agree with that, but to go at the same time with nerfing them.
At the very least the people against it seem to think its the end of everything and the game's balance is going out the window. The argument against these high end items is more of the same, which we do not want. Which is true, we'd all prefer new favor items with more unique abilities. But at the very core these favor items do not change the balance. Its just more of the same.
Really, i'm starting to doubt in you human intelligence. Do you understand that new fave items wont make game more fun& enjoyable, but opposite (there will ofc always be 'exceptional ppl', but in minority thank God, and we cant change that, but it really doesn't matter).
EDIT: Ups, the quoting... messed up.
I hope you'll understand who said what.
