Last person to post wins, unless they are a moderator or admin.

Basically, this game is played so that the last person who post wins. What do they win? The ThreadKiller's Achievement; The honor of being the last person to post by virtue of the content of their post. However, moderators, admins, and anyone else who has the ability to lock the thread are disqualified from winning the ThreadKiller's Achievement, if they win by locking. If the thread is won by method of locking, the "winner" gains the Achievement Of Reprehensible Epic Lameness.

Amen to that. People were telling me Israel was going to be hell cause of the heat. Turns out all the guys from Philly and what not were suffering fiercely, but with not a trace of humidity in sight, I felt like it was a nice day at the beach. I bet if I went to Arizona outside of the monsoon season, it would be similar.

Anything in Arizona worth visiting?

Yeah, when you are used to the heat, it don't bother you, July and August are usually my toughest months at work due to the humidity (and no we don't have AC in our trucks)

The Grand Canyon is cool to see, and its out of the hot zone

A lot of hiking trials around the Valley (where Phoenix is located at) if you are into that, but not much really

I guess it would depend on what you want to visit

Well, places to hike and camp are always cool. We have lots of those, but the best ones are out west, and the state's big enough where just going to Big Bend is like taking a trip outta state. Around here it's predominantly pine forests and wetlands, which offer little variety in landscape. The southeast is better about man-made attractions. Houston has good theater and museums, Austin is good for nightlife and music festivals, college station for food and kicking back. If there were any good museums or anything to pop by on the way to a good park or the Grand Canyon, then they would make cool detours.

Keep in mind I'm the guy who camps without a tent or shower, but also can kill days on end in Paris or Tel Aviv. Not big on cities like New York nor sitting in a barren flatland.

okay well there are a lot of places are fun to camp (like you I like to do the real camping) out like along the Mogollon Rim (Pronounced Mugy-on) as well as ones that like to desert camp. Ironically Arizona is vary varied from deserts with its own life (many assume Arizona is all sand dune type desert, which is far from the case) to Pine Forests and lots of snow (see Flagstaff)

Tempe, Scottsdale, and Eastside Phoenix is the night-life area while the west side is slowly growing in things like that but is much more sedated (my preference)

Lake Havasu on the Westside of the State is known for its party atmosphere as well

edit: Im heading for bed Night all

I give tesb this much, he's got ambitions.

Whiskey, I take it they go to A&M or are they just locals?

Technically they are family friends; 2 have already gone to A&M, one is going. The 2 that already went are married to each other and have 6? kids.

DEATH TO SUPCOM2!!! IT IS A HERETICAL PIECE!!!

No, really. SupCom2 IS heresy. After all, it grew from idleness, didn't it?

I wish that there was a Battlefield 2142 mod for Forged Alliance. While '2142 was published by EA, DICE made it. Thus DICE=pure, undistilled awesomeness.

On that note, this would be my "wishlist" of SupCom:FA mods-

Warhammer 40,000; Battlefield 2142; probably a few others I can't think of ATM. Oh, I got some- some of the C&C titles (not C&C4) would probably be friggin' epic in the SupCom engine.
