Last person to post wins, unless they are a moderator or admin.

Basically, this game is played so that the last person who post wins. What do they win? The ThreadKiller's Achievement; The honor of being the last person to post by virtue of the content of their post. However, moderators, admins, and anyone else who has the ability to lock the thread are disqualified from winning the ThreadKiller's Achievement, if they win by locking. If the thread is won by method of locking, the "winner" gains the Achievement Of Reprehensible Epic Lameness.

Saw it, good set up for building to come. As for the Reavers, I won't argue, but unless you do something like Dead Space, not sure if zombies can do space.

zombies can't even handle life ......tschhhaka

I never meant zombies. I meant IMMORTAL MACHINE MEN!!!!!!

doing zombies in space would be hard, they couldn't have their own ships

flipside some zombie lore implies the use of viruses and that would allow for them to exist on other planets and hence allow them to be transported to space by hosts and infect others

when the ship is fully taken over, it floats in space until some one finds it or it crashes releasing the spore/viruses else where

bah sounds like genesteelers to me

well genestealers are part of a mind hive plus they (due to the fact they are also scouts in a way) do have some form of intelligence

zombies have neither, just an undying hunger

are we talking Romero's apocalyptic zombies, or are we including virulent lore? If the latter, then The Crazies blends the undying hunger with the ability to use tools and even plan to a degree.

Immortal Machine Men, you say? Like Borg or Cybermen?

Rubric Marines actually. :P

Did someone say Caprica???

Gonna be watching the beginning today. Hope it's worth the time.  I believe so.:sun:

Can't wait to see the Crazies.......................:waaaa: :waaaa: :waaaa:

Not too terribly interested in teh Crazies, but horror films have been a let down for a long time for me.

Not bothering with anything BSG, cause I thought the last two seasons of the series were pretty downhill, but that's me.

And no, I said Cybermen.

Neither. Think more like Necron Pariahs. :) :borg: :cylon:

He was the Greatest Horror/Science Fiction movie maker ever.   (not!!!)

It's so bad it's turns into hillarious.    Wild.

I do have horrors I like, but very few made in the past 12 years.

Fine, back to Warhammer 40K. I was trying to throw in something new, but nooooo...

well, Necrons were the closest thing to what I thought of.

@Draak.... Are you serious? Have you seen Alien, Preditor, Species. etc.  Grade A fun there! I love the old stuff to though, obviously. Just a die hard fan.:smitten:

@Whiskey........:typo: Necrons.....necrons...got me there. Don't know what they are but, yup....Love zombies  :w00t:

@Irokoness- great horror/sci fi movies but they were made more than 12 years ago (12 years ago puts me at 18, and they came out before then)

I am not big on slash and hack but Chainsaw Massacre, Scream, Matrix, I hear dead People, etc.

I'll give the years to you. But that's Entertainment!

But that's why I'm not geared up to discover new horror flicks. I love those, but they are the older beasts. I have copies of them. The most recent horror I like is Event Horizon. Still, not that young.

Geez, your stumping me right now, there is some good stuff out there.

It's mathematically impossible for them to be all mediocre.

Stay tuned for updates..................

...Event Horizon...
End of Draakjacht's quote

8O That movie gave me nightmares when I first saw it. Just thinking about it gives me the shivers. Maybe b/c I was 10 when I saw it or something else...Love this movie....but it makes me want to sleep with the lights on.

Though I do name my flagship in this movies honor. Yeah, its forever changed me.

What's the synopsis of Event Horizon? The only thing it reminds me of is black holes.

@IROKONESS- Necrons are a race in Games Workshop's Warhammer 40,000 universe.

In a nut shell... Sc-Fi horror. Ship disappears, reappears after 7 years.Rescue ship is sent. And the shit hits the fan.

If you want the full detailed synopsis click the linky. Though reading does not do it justice IMHO. Of course Im scarred from the movie LOL. Even though I watch again in a heartbeat.
