Tomorrow morning [Friday, Aus time] I'm on a plane to the US and Canada.   All things going well [the US doesn't chuck me out for being unintelligible] I'll be visiting all the great guys and gals at Stardock HQ.

Yay for me.....  It's been a loooong time coming.  I've known these guys for about a decade so it'll be a 'buzz' to finally catch up with them in 'Real Life' [tm].

In all of my history with skinners/skinning I've only met 3 skinners before, all of whom were from Oz, like me.....so this will likely be sensory overload [or something]...;)

I have a beat-up old laptop that'll hopefully keep me in contact here on my travels....and if I get a chance on the road I'll try to post the odd pic or two, but I'll likely not be on quite as frequently/long as is usual.

If you've the inclination to PM or otherwise contact me re issues with Wincustomize and/or its inhabitants it may be a better bet for the next few weeks to badger Island Dog in lieu.....[he yearns for your contact]....;)

Hopefully I can get one or two group mug-shots at Stardock on the 16th to show you what an ugly - er - wonderful bunch of people they all are....

Take care of each other...I'll be busy taking photos....;)

Day 11 day trip to Quebec ,,,, beer 54 back in Montreal.

Bit worried about Niagara.....if the fall in Quebec is actually higher......Niagara is likely gonna be a fizzer....like seeing the Mona Lisa in RL [tm]...so small.....;p

Quebec is a nice place....provided you stay aware much of it is rebuilt...and not as old as its history....;)

Got a great tee shirt there.....about moose droppings...;)

Tomorrow is slack time.... gonna chill and drink beer...;p

Day 12....back in Montreal...beer 59.... [one of them was probably the worst EVER in 54 years [and Canadian]]...don't WANT to remember its name...but it was referred to as 'rouge'.....[probably the colour of the blood you wished to let in lieu of drinking the crap].

The girls [three] shopped till they dropped...and my feet hurt.....;p

Tomorrow is Toronto....

Still not king.

Actually, it was named 'rouge' because of the bloody tint of the urine after drinking it [and used to brew it] ;P

Day 13 ....Toronto....beer 64....which is surprising....considering how far you have to go to find a shop that sells them.

If it was this hard in Oz there'd be an uprising.....ultimately a 4 mile walk...;p

Day 14 [Friday] ...off to shop again [women!].

Feet hurt.

Day 14....seems like day 140.....[we pack a lot in].... beer 69 .....St.Ambroise stout....nice stuff....;)

CN Tower is kinda high.....loved the glass floor.

The Architecture is fun....some seriously narrow houses....;)

Shopping with three women was [barely] survivable....somehow I had 6 feet to massage....;p

Mine just hurt...still not King...;)

Today [Saturday] we're meeting up with a Canadian couple the girls met on THEIR trip to Turkey and Egypt....[while I looked after the cat]...for a BBQ.

I'm putting on weight....as are the girls' bags ..... may need to cut down on breathing......;p

Saturday night was fun ....friendly people....beer 74 ...tried to catch a photo of a squirrel [we don't have them]...

Slept in Sunday morning....[that was novel]...it's now day 16 ....feels like 60.

I think 'holiday' is a misnoma....;p

Maybe you'll get lucky and see a raccoon. They rip garbage apart. What part of Toronto are you staying in? I lived there for 16 years, and still live close by.
