Needs a nerf. I don't care how. But he needs one.

Pretty much all the games I have played recently have had at least one Erebus in, and I don't know what the hell is going on because I never had problems with them before, but at the moment with max minions, max bite, 1 point in swarm and 1 point in stun there is NOTHING you can do against it. It totally owns from level 2 until the game finishes and you simply cannot touch him.

I CAN'T EVEN MAKE THEM LOSE ANY HP, AND THE DPS THEY HAVE IS INSANE.

Pretty frustrating game as Oak against a minion Erebus; level 2 surge, armor of vengance, and natures reckoning do nothing, pop a sig, and he batswarms away, while those minons continue to rape me.  Minions are practically another demigod, making a 3v3 a 3v4.

Erebus has cheapy skills, and mana usage of each skill also is cheap... to death.

 

Mist should not dispell negative effect that easily, and, has the only demigod who can poison healing flasks, shouldn't damage the 100% of the healing capacity. The posion must be chance-based, not inmediate-effect, and the damage dealt must be a random percentage of the healing capacity of the flask, not fully!.

 

Bite must need more mana as that skill does a lot of things for the cost it already has.

 

Erebus needs a lot of adjustments, GPG better fix this cheapy, OP demigod on the next update

They're better than another DG.  They don't give gold or exp and they respawn within a handful of seconds. :grin:

No I don't think so. If you buff everyone to UB's level you get to ridicilous battles. Insane damage, instakilling towers and creeps and noone ever dies because no everyone got speed/warp/super health.

For once i agree with katana, no need to buff other demigods, just nerf the ridiculous OP skills of Erebus:

- No mana regeneration during mist, permamist-batswarming xploiting solved.

- Halve the amount of hp recovered by bite -> 250 damage/125 heal and so on, bite still will be an awesome skill-nuke for its mana cost, but no more "i'm always full HP erebus and u cant even get me to half hp" frustration.

- No more free, awesome minions for Erebus, change nightcrawlers amount to 0/4/7/10  according to Coven skill points.

This would change "almighty Erebus" to "i'm still awesome Erebus". But sadly none of this will happen.

One of the biggest problems of Lord Erebus is he's the only one to get minions (nightcrawlers) for free with no mana or skill points investment, and with just one skill point (Coven lvl1) he gets a very decent army of minions at no mana cost (6 nightcrawlers), which are enough to dominate a lane early game 1v1 .

I suggest you start playing extensively with Erebus to see what i'm talking about, it would probably help even you win some games }:) .

I was originally going to be saracstic with the post and then just decide to go iinto nonsense.. Bah all you care about winning game but guess what when you die you can't take them with you. When you wife leaves you those wins won't keeep you warm at night, so why give a damn about them?   2. Take Erebus' damage down by 10 per swing
  3. Nomilirac's suggestion for mist
  4. Reduce coven
  5. Make bite heal 1/2 and nerf the armor debuff
  6. Reduce UB's speed by .2
  7. Increase Rook's speed by .1
  8. Decrease the health Rook's towers early game and make them stronger late game
  9. Make Oak's flag locks and teleports interruptable, even through shield
  10. Increase DA's base speed by .3
  11. Increase DA's base health
  12. Decrease the mana cost of all of QoT's skills
  13. Increase QoT's base health
  14. Increase number of shamblers
  15. Increase the late game damage of circle of flame
  16. Add a slowing effect to rain of ice
  17. Decrease switching between fire and ice form to 0.4s
  18. Increase the damage per level of snipe
  19. Increase the damage per level of Angelic Fury

Spit's range is fine in my opinion. It's intended to be a ranged ability, and it's rather balanced. In fact, UB should be the model for all the other DGs to follow. He has multiple builds that he can use and he is strong without having abilities that massacre people in seconds (like erebus and sometimes oak).

not gonna lie guys, i havent read anything beside sthe first post.  but heres my 2c and ive been playing since day 1.

erubus is slightly OP.  I dont know how youd balance it but lets face it, if youre good with him you dont die. 

we can throw arguments back and forth all day about this and that, but the cold hard truth is over thousands of games, LE is the opponent in your lane you always dread, since, unless he effs up, you wont be getting any kill.  and in all probability unless youre a good rook you wont be pushing him.

yes yes, many of you will post "oh but i can push erubus".  well yes of course you can.  however if youre going against a LE of your same skill level, he will most likely push you and keep you pushed.  late game with swarm, bite, and mist. goodluck trying to kill one who doesnt want to die.  hes even more surviveable than sedna.

oh, and bites the shit. 

im tired.  good games to all i played with today.

I seriously hope this is a joke post, otherwise:

HAHAHAH. No. SPIT IS NOT BALANCED, just check spit and then check fireball. One is near instant cast does almost TWICE as much dmg as the other one, AND is a ability on a melee character that naturally has more dmg and health than TB.

Ub is imbalanced stupid and stale. There is only one skill build with him(and 2 variations on favor items) and the rest all suck. He's basically point and click and his abilities MASSACRE people in seconds. I can't believe you say that Erebus and Oak's skill do more damage(yes they have a few more useful skills).

Indeed I challenge every good player to play me with a decent oak/sedna and another tier I and beat me without using UB or Rook. This is impossible, the only way to counter UB is either Rook or take an UB yourself. That includes you Lethstang.

Also Erebus is rather easy to push out, UB pushes him out, a good oak does so, a good rook does so, and a good queen can push him out. That is not the problem, the real scary thing about him is, is his insane ganking ability vs squishies and more importantly his super awesome stun that allow sick sick portal grabbing lategame.
