Naked - [Noir] WB - WIP

Naked - [Noir] WB - WIP

Strip it... Strip it good

After seeing the popularity of transparent themes in the past few months I thought it was time for me to put my own version of the concept together. Hopefully I can do it justice, and provide a high quality Master skin with my own take on it.

The basic concept is a stripped down, very transparent, very fast WB that is perfect for screenshotting and showcasing wallpapers

There will be zero bevels or gradients, all the buttons will be flat and designed to be more like a touch screen interface.

It will have a white text and black text start menu substyle for use with light or dark wallpapers.

Heres a small screeny of what I have after a couple of days, I'll try to expose more as I strip it down. :hot:

I hope everyone can get Naked soon :P

Hmm.. looks unfinished to me, no loggoff buttons done, navigation arrows and icons, someone better to get work, people are waiting. XD

Gonna be a day or two, no need to refresh every 30 mins.

Just a demo on how the dark and light fonts compensate lighting from one extreme to another.

Nice screenie, Cp! Where's the systray?

Where's the systray?

Everything has been hidden :ninja:

Nice Shot Curtis, Ive actually decided to lose the slight glass layer in the start menu, it was the only gradient in an otherwise.. gradientless, naked WB and was causing problems at very short start menu sizes.

Vista coming along well.... soooon. :hot:

You see that tiny little + plus sign in the lower right corner?

It's all in there in an inactive state bro.

My small way of shooting a blind clean and an excellent question.

If you notice, I don't use a Quick Launch or the tray clock either.  Don't need 'em!  With the stuff we use for customizing, all the system defaults becomes redundant.

8C  Whoooooooooa!  Wait a sec partner!  I'm having no such problems on XP with the start chopped down to 3 elements.

Far as I'm concerned, you don't have to alter shit dude!

Well, fellas....V, essentially....I'm very impressed with this skin's capabilities. You should be quite proud of your baby!

Doc's writing a prescription for everyone to pick up Naked ASAP!

Actually in looking at teh screenies and testing myself.. u can see the right side is whiter than the rest, also it will be touted as gradientless, beveless, dropshadowless, I basically forgot to turn off the gradients while initially designing\cutting the start panel.

It'll look just peachy, promise. :)

That's nice to hear as that gloss causes problems in OD and RocketDock (hint, hint) ;)

 I like naked! Naked rocks!

Well if you like 'naked' rocks so much, you'd feel right at home with a few sticks of jelly in a quarry :-"

'Tis looking good John... but what else, with your attention to detail.
