Wild Card Tier:  I don’t know what goes on in these people’s heads, but they play on Sins enough to be on here.  These guys have been playing for so long, you wonder why they don’t quite get it.  Sometimes they’re good, sometimes they aren’t.  Usually they’re always one trick ponies.

 _|~Sire/KoK/King of Kodiaks/LiLZe/Kodiak_King - Tier #3 if he doesn't goof off.

kbroke - Tier #2 if he isn't on drugs or drunk, which is 99.9% of the time.

HuyMac - Tier #2 if he doesn't "Experiment".

Predator (WFU) - Tier #2, but lately he is just plain awful and I would rather pick a noob that know how to listen that to pick this guy.

You have to take these lists with a grain of salt.  They are subjective, rough estimates based on the judgement of other experienced players over many, many games.  Some players are good 1v1 (and some aren't!), but don't coordinate well as a team player.  Some are really good at early game rushing but aren't as good late game, while others try to focus on end-game strategies.  Some are 1 trick ponies while others are flexible and unpredictable.  Some give up easily, while others are more valuable to a team because you know they won't quit just because they aren't doing well in their part of the map.

This list is a heck of a lot better than nothing.  You could have more Tiers, but it would be extremely difficult to figure out where players fit without an automated system.  Besides, no one is stopping you if you want to create your own more detailed list.

That and there's no way I would even want to attempt to sub-divide the existing tiers.  I would be forever changing the list.

Hi I'm Dumdeedum

 

I feel that this list has become too big, it is meant to be a Gold list of best players not a whose who. I don't think im good enough to be on a Gold list as i make way to many stupid mistakes in a game and I know many others on these list do.

I thought these lists were originally meant to be about the elite (best of the best). To me the lists are now total waste of time not what How originally did them for i reckon, you can correct me on this.

I would prefer an elite list of the best players not an ever growing list of better than average players(I include me when I say that).

But that is only my opinion.

I crush ColdFront (Universe) every single game i've played with him so far even during my first week of the game. But I don't think I'm at the level of some tier 2 players yet so where should I go?

Yes and who are you exactly? I hardly ever get "crushed" and when I do I remember it. Like around ten or so games ago I played Hiroge and yes, I was "crushed".

 

So please do tell me who you are.

Howthe should belong in the same group as doci playerslayer ooloo.

And a few China players are at least tier 1 imo. I can assure u that if u pick any 5 in tier 1 vs them, they will beat u 90% of the time.

The Chinese people are good at rushing, but have severe flaws in their mid and late game plays...that may someday be different, but as for now I don't think they compare to the likes of Auqia, Ooloo, or How....

This is true but at least 3-4 of them should be in tier 0 and not 1. And if they can rush a tier 1 to win 90% of the time....yes they are still better in a way. I do agree that most of them are lacking in the late game though. But how many games actually go into late game without the game been decided at early-mid game? Those players that do not want to leave a losing game dont' fall into the late game category.

I disagree that JakeMac and DeceptivePanda are tier 1.  Both solid players but not to the level of anyone else in that group.  I know I'm picked before either of them 9 times out of 10.  Not trying to build myself up here but just last night Jake used his tier 1 status as an excuse for some sort of exploit he is using (that he refused to discuss what he was doing while asking me to help him test it).

Also, I think Candido should be tier 1.  He doesn't make mistakes and always handles his business regardless of who he is facing of against.  That plus he is a phenominal team player and always can be relied on at the strategic level as well as the tactical.

Just for the sake of spam, one more suggestion: 

The lower skilled tiers should have more people in them then the higher ones.  I'd take probably 3 to 5 of the "tier 1" and move them into tier 2, and about 6 to 8 of the tier 2 and move them into tier 3.

Candido can move to tier 1, but that's all I'm going to change for now.
