Murphy's Laws

How many are there out there"

I for one have always enjoyed the sardonic wisdom of Murphy's Laws. There appear to loads of them, corollaries and extensions too!

The rules? 1. No big 'G''ing answers, please.

               2. No "Overkill" just one or two per post...gotta leave some for others, right?

               3. Have fun!

To get it started: 1. Whatever can go wrong, will.

                         2.  What ever can go wrong will, at the most inopportune time and you will be blamed.

Let the games begin!

Good!

1 Any given program will eventually expand to use up all available memory.

2 In nature, nothing is ever right. Therefore, if everything is going right ... something is wrong.

If I really have uncontrollable gas, I will inevitablely have to ride in an elevator full of people at some point.

Nothing is as easy as it looks.

Everything takes longer than you think.

I'm sick with a sinus infection right now. I can never really seem to get my "drainage" out.

The ONLY times it is EVER ready to come out (and forcefully at that) is when there's people everywhere, and no bathroom! >:( :puke:

It is impossible to make anything foolproof because fools are so ingenious.

Whenever you set out to do something, something else must be done first.

Just when you thought you'd made it foolproof someone comes up with a new and improved fool.

But you're "down under"...so do  you flick the switch UP to turn it off...but wait...UP is DOWN for you so....

I'm so confused... :'( . How do you get ANYTHING done?

If you can't understand it, it is intuitively obvious.

To err is human, but to really foul things up requires a computer.

But

The attention span of a computer is only as long as it electrical cord.
