It is already too late for the skinning community, it is already dead. When I look at the WinCustomize messageboard it is almost 50% support requests and 50% cross posting. Community posts, or posts about skinning are almost non existent.

You all have my sympathy, but by now you must have realized any complaints have fallen on deaf ears.

My choice (as suggested in #35) is click on the close button (a white x on a blue background in my case). Like so many skinners before me I'm no longer active on the site. What I do find annoying is when people comment 'where have all the skinners gone' like they don't know the reason.

People 'click here' because people know it's a cross post and wish to vent their anger. It's pointed in the wrong direction of course, but then the real culprits are not accessible, so everyone else gets it instead.

 

I am glad you continue to stop by however as I am sure are many others who think of you fondly.  Sadly, I fear you are correct.

I have no hatred for Obama or Biden, but I sure disagree with their political philosophy & positions.  The hatred for Palin, not simply disagreements with her past actions or positions, is so over-the-top, exposing the intellectual arrogance of the left.  Biden is a much bigger bufoon than Palin if you ask me - he's uninformed, makes gaffe after gaffe after gaffe, is wrong on his history half the time (and not just fuzzy little details), and he's the one the Dems tout as the experienced, knowledgeable, level-headed mentor BO can turn to when his inexperience requires it.  He's shown me that despite all his years in politics & in DC, he hasn't cared enough to learn squat, not even about the Constitution under which he serves.

The 'good' beginnings of kkk still doesn't make kkk just fine and dandy club to be in. In this case, history doesn't matter, kk is still truly hateful group of people.

Kokomo, Indiana. 21 miles south of here on US31. i was there for 12 hours today and will be for 12 hours again tomorrow. at one time, inidiana was openly run by the klan. it was a sad time in our history. sadly, there are a few cities just a short drive from here that are still active klan enclaves. luckily, they aren't active as much as they were just a few short years ago. it was only 11 or 12 years ago, the klan had a rally in my hometown. i did find it fun to pull a few hoods from their heads, though. there's no need to hide under a hood, is there?

cplair, they didn't chase me at all. they weren't happy with me, though. i was called a few names i had never heard before . the really funny thing is the guy they were supposedly in town to scare was actually walking amongst them. donnie was walking amongst them talking to numerous members of the klan asking whey they hated blacks. remember, donnie is black.....has been all his life. it seems the bunch that was here that day backed down when they were confronted with a crowd of citizens that let them know they weren't welcome. they tried to put up a cross on the courthouse lawn but it was taken from them. i'm sure that doesn't happen everywhere but it sure did here. i was proud of my fellow citizens of the town.
