The fact of the matter is, many countries, whether they publicly criticize or praise (rare now in days) the U.S., they appreciate how the U.S. can bully other countries. Many of us disagree with what U.S. administrations do with their power, but would you rather have Iran be the Super Power bullying the world?

If anyone is seriously preparing to attack Iran it is Israel. Most likely it would take the form of a "raid on the reactor" style attack like they did with Iraq in 1981. Only this attack on Iran would require more airplanes because Iran has spread out its nuclear research program to hundreds of facilities.

Back on topic: We haz nuclear weapons!?! Zomg! Why do people make such a big deal about nuclear power? I guess its the same when one caveman picked up a rock, and all the others were like, "Why do you have to be such a big bully caveman?!?" I do not condone using Nuclear Weaponry, but I dislike the attitude towards it. Its just another technological innovation. In the upcoming years, there will be bigger, better, and more efficient ways to kill large masses of people. As for nuking Iran, we dont need to, conventional weapons would be more than enough as they cant defend against cruise missiles and stealth bombers.

The fact is that the US, if it wanted to, didnt have to put a single troop on the ground. We could have just used UAVs to scout and find targets and let bombers and missiles blow the country to kingdom come.

As for every thing that the US does being about money. Yeah thats why our national debt is up and our economy is suffering. People are lucky we are nice because if we did only dont care about our selves and do hat wizzbang said then we would be alot better off. Remember that world war 2 officially started in 1939. In order for Germany to do that they had to take over half of Europe first. The USA started building weapons and military in 1939. The army in 1939 had 10,000 men, 10 ww1 tanks, 10 machine guns, and was putting recruits through basic with wooden weapons. At the end of 1941 we were strong enough to fight a two front war. Only because the army isn't very good in the water, and the navy isn't very good on land.

1) The US has the largest, most powerful military in the world several times over. The Americans spend nearly 10 times the yearly amount on their military as the next closest nation (Great Britain). US military spending accounts for nearly HALF of all the money spent on all the world's militaries combined.

2) If the US wants to invade Iran, which I would remind people here is led by an extremist anti-semetic dictator, there would literally be nothing Iran could do to stop it. In fact, the entire middle east could not stop a US invasion of Iran. Iran's nuclear capacity would be eliminated in minutes by stealth bombers. The rest is academic.

3) The US doesnt even need oil from the middle east. There is probably more oil in NA than all of asia - and that is excluding the incredible reserves off the coasts of North America.

If you are Iranian, and you don't want to see the US invade your country, you had either better revolt against your extremist dictator and put a moderate (or democracy) in power, or pray that Obama gets elected. Seriously.

What you should not do is go on internet forums and make it sound as if Iran has any card to play against the US whatsoever. If the US invades, Iran and the entire rest of the world will be powerless to stop it.

Actually some guy in at home in his garage figuared out how to track stealth on radar. Good thing he only told the military and no one else. But with enough radar stations you can track stealth. You just can't target it with radar.

The 48 states has 3 times more oil than all of the middle east, Plus what is in alaska and off shore. We are also the 3rd largest producer of oil, this with our hands tied.
