Hello again

I would like to re-announce to the Community the latest on the tribute suite to BoXXi. We have now voted and with input from BoXXi and from the community it is decided that instead of building a suite from an existing BoXXi work ( fruitloops ) , we will now complete what would have been BoXXi's 100th submussion to WC.

The skin the commiunity has chosen will be One Hundered.

I have uploaded the source to https://www.wincustomize.com/skins.aspx?skinid=955&libid=18

I now ask the following for volunteers for the following:

Windowblinds

Iconpackager/Dock icons

Dock Backgrounds

DesktopX gadgets (Weather/clock/calendar)

Media player skins (Xion/Winamp/WMP)

Application skins ( Rainlendar/Sysmetric )

I would like to take this opportunity to invite any and all skinners , coders , testers and anyone that can help out to contribute to help out . If you have code or graphics you would like to build your skin around , or to allow this project to use , it would be appreciated.

If someone on the IRC channel has a 24x7 connection , it would be appreciated if a channel #onehundred could be created so we can come in and chat about our ideas.

I would also like to ask that this thread be stickied / an article created for it.

I'll edit this post as we get more into the project.

It needs no reminding , but this is Our tribute to BoXXi.

This is where I am on the DX theme....any comments?


Lookin' good.I like the wide menus,and Kitty's artwork worked into it.I haven't seen the blind but could this use more of the white to balance it out? Remember, I don't know diddly about art. :LOL: Just a little input.

Probably, but I don't like white, and in order to feel good about a project, I have to go with my instincts. And I will be using my wall, which has less white, and more gray. Gray is also used a lot in kitty's blind. My aim is to compliment the WB, not to copy it. Thanx for the input, Wiz.  ;)

Rick, I like the orientation of the '100' on the first one, but like the black background blending on the second one.  :CONGRAT:

Decided to do both. There will be a 100 DX Light, and a 100 DX Dark. The voices said so.

Windows mail gives me fits,and sometimes it won't let me dl or open an .exe file.

I like both,of course. ;) It's amazing how a little thing like the white border makes it 'pop.'Stands out from the wall,but it compliments it nicely. :D

Cool! It's funny, when I made the rainys I named them 100 Light and 100 Dark..... ;) I think we are listening to the same voices. :SURPRISED:
