IconPackager v4.0 Release Support Thread

Please use this thread for IconPackager v4.0 Support Issues

All,

With IconPackager v4.0 being released tomorrow, I am creating this thread to house support for the newly released product.

At this time there are no known issues for either 32-bit or 64-bit.

For all of those who have reported and tested issues on 64-bit we thank you for your time and support.

Regards,

Zargon

I am confused. Could someone post a ss of what the v4.00.160 UI is supposed to look like? Since purchase I've had the "old" UI. Last update,to 3.99.xxx I got then "new" UI. I just updated and have the old one again.Which is which?P.S. "it took so long to do" ;) 38.5 minutes on dsl lite,to be exact. My ISP's web platform is propped up with 2x4's ;p

We had small crossing of the streams on Impulse yesterday.  That has all been ironed out and you should only see the new download if you are:

1) An existing Object Desktop subscriber

2) You bought IconPackger 3.x in the last year (we are giving free upgrades to those who purchased 3.x since February 1st, 2007)

Customers who purchaed IconPackager 3.x before February 1st, 2007 can upgrade for a special price of $9.95.

IconPackager 4 is only being delivered through Impulse or the standalone installer.  You can download Impulse from this page:

Or download it from the link on your registrations page.

Will it ever show on SDC?

Is this the end of new releases on SDC?

Ehm.. I downloaded Impulse, and on the updates tab it shows Iconpackager as installed version: 3.20.163, and available version: 4.00.163, but I can't update it. It won't show on my registrations page either, all it shows is the 3.20 link.

Not fixed under Windows XP SP3 and latest build > 4.00.163.

+ problematic activation process under XP.
