Welcome all! The Galactic Senate will be our new meeting room to decide on metaverse matters! This means that this is it's sole function...for now. This may change. This is not a slander thread like the Galactic Council one. There is no tolerance for profanity and swearing.
The leader of the senate will be voted upon once every 3 weeks! When the leader's term is up, he may be elected as many times as the voters want...unlimited! You may vote for yourself!
If the leader of the Senate does something inappropriate on this thread, then he will be immediately ousted and his throat will be slit with a razor. Then we'll rip his heart out and "The Legions of Darkness" (The Raiders special forces) will feast on it!
To be elected, one must have at least 12 the most votes! You may only vote for 1 person each ELECTION!
All issues must be brought to attention by either a senator or overlord of an empire! A citizen may bring up an issue, but it will not be voted on until a senator or overlord formally proposes it. To be considered a senator or overlord, you must have at least one other person in your empire besides yourself and you must have senator status!
That's all there is to say....now let's get started!

AMENDMENTS:
1. Anyone who is a senator in more than 1 empire counts as 2 votes but NOT 2 people! If you wish to be counted as a "Super" Senator, you must send me a PM telling me which empires you're a senator in.
2. The leader of the 1st place empire counts as 3 votes!
3. Free beer for all in attendance, but not to excess.
4. To pass anything, it must receive at least 12 6 votes, but if the nos outweigh the yeses, then it does not get passed.

NEXT ELECTION: Whenever I decide...but i'm a dictator, so i proably won't.

As do I. Making a unilateral grab for power is a most evil act. Truly despicable. I change my 2 votes in favor of DSep and encourage others to do the same. :LOL:

That's what you think! All you need is to ask me for some beer and i'll provide, as it says in the third amendment:

As for sporing goody two shoes races, i think all senators would would vote to sanction it!

I propose that this amendment be...uhh...amendended. I propose to strike out "but not to excess" from the amendment and that we change amendment 3 to the following:

3. Free beer for all in attendance, and no issues shall be voted on by any member who is sober.

Only DSep and SethPenguin (the TRUE leader of this Senate with 4 votes) will be allowed to drink Kool-Aide until they are in the midst of an extreme sugar high (as they are too young to indulge in alcohol).

That's pretty cool looking, neilo. I change my 2 votes to PlayJeff45 and encourage everyone else to do the same. :LOL:

The election started Tuesday, and it's now Thursday....we are all eagerly awaiting the results. ;)

I cant remember who I voted for the last time I voted, so I may as well vote again. It really seems that SethPenguin has built some momentum, so I'll jump on the bandwagon and support him with all 3 of my votes. Long live the lizard-king!

Oops! Double posted!!

Is anyone else having problems with this forum taking longer to open a new page than it's taken this election to be finalized? I've had it take me to a Stardock error page a few times. Then when I go back to the forum it doesn't show what I posted (even after I refresh) so I will post again and THEN it pops up what I had posted before AND what I just retyped!

Being a sthondat means you are an animal unift for even a Kzin to eat...hrrr!!! Roaches are good though. Crunchy on the outside and gooey on the inside. They are very small for a full-grown Kzin to bother with. As to why they would have grass inside them is a mystery to us.  :LOL:  Perhaps some sneaky new weapon? We'll have to look into this... We have no relation to these "cats" from Terra that you refer too, but we do know that they are quite tasty too. They were quite plentiful when we first conquered Terra.

If I'm elected leader of this Senate, my first order is that everyone be properly fed, or fed to the President. Either is good... ;)

Is anyone else having problems with this forum...

I thank you for that compliment!! And thanks for clearing that up for me, as I was wondering if maybe you HAD been eating ALOT of roaches (and yes they would be great secret weapons as all your enemies would end up fat from the munchies).  :LOL:

I thought cats were cats no matter where they came from. As far as I can tell you all lick your privates and run when Bob Barker is on TV.  :D

It seems the Metaverse has become more confusing and chaotic since my departure.
