COMBINES UZII'S SINS PLUS WITH BAILKNIGHT'S GRAPHICS MOD FOR ONLINE PLAY

Been getting a lot of people interested in a standardized combination of the two mods mentioned in the titles.
I took it upon myself to combine them in what i call Adama Repack.

This takes the graphical aspect from Balknight's mod and merges it with Uzii's Sins Plus mod, keeping none of the gameplay changes except of the ones specific to new planet types that were created by Uzii and his compadres.

All the credit belongs to Uzii, Balknight, and those who were mentioned in Uzii's readme, i just compiled.

He has an unnamed sins project site coming up, which i believe will be dedicated to sins mods.

This Repack Includes the newest versions of both mods, as per March 31, 2008. Namely:
Balknight's Graphics Mod v1.2
Uzii's Sins Plus v1.3a + v1.04 Compatibility and Balance Changes

This mod does not attempt to change any gameplay mechanics. It plays just like the vanilla (1.04), but with new planets and greatly overhauled effects.

This mod has been compiled in the interest of multiplayer consistancy, so that people can meet online and play this exact mod together, without having to worry whether or not it will work.

Great idea for a mod pack  :) , but I am curious.

Did you modify Bali's graphic mod at all (such as removing the Gameinfo folders)?

No and yes. I overwrote them with Uzii's Gameinfo Folders which were overwritten with the 1.04 patch's balancing.

Oh, well I suppose missing some of the effects is a decent trade-off considering what else this mod brings to the table.

Not all the gameinfo files were overwritten, and this mod is not missing any effects.
The ones effecting explosions and powers are all still there, in working order. I'm pretty certain of that.

Nice merge. One suggestion: save a little space and get rid of the TXT_GameInfo folder. To my knowledge the only reason that's in bailknight's mod is to provide text versions of his binary GameInfo files, but you replaced all of the GameInfo folder with Uzii's, and those are all in text form anyway. That makes the TXT_GameInfo folder both unnecessary and inaccurate to boot.

Don't expect this to work with other players online. Any editing of the mod files will result in a checksum mismatch. Zerox i would appreciate if you would mention that in your posts.

I would also like 2 request that it be incorporated also. (Or at least have 1 with both) If you're trying to improve the graphics and effects, why not include all the pertinent improvement mods? (I really just wish they wouldn't limit you to enabling only 1 mod at a time so repacks wouldn't be needed for every combination.

Is this going to be updated for Entrenchment? Was a great repack and I haven't been able to get sins plus + bailknight in a stable package anywhere, at least not without a ton of other gameplay changing stuff.

this mod was for sins 1.04 not later. it would NOT be compatible with entrenchment any version due to the AGE of the mod
