Personal ratings count:

Look at the massive difference between spending and political capital, but Vilsack had Jefferson as his running mate. This meant he had 10's in practically every personal rating category. I would have lost this race badly except for a smear merchant and spin doctor in California.

Here it is:
I won with over 400 electoral votes facing Rice. From the beginning, I had a lead in practically the whole south (wonder how that could've happened) including her homestate of Alabama. I ended up winning 43 of the 50 United States...This is actually my first game that I've played through.

I played Clinton---just at the start, he was the winner in all of the southern states. It didn't show the light blue (most likely indicating a 'big' win)...I had leads in Condi's home-state. I was a Democrat....it was kind of weird, but it seems that some people find him hard to beat.

BTW: does anyone know how to unlock Thomas Jefferson, G.Washington, Theodore Roosevelt, and other candidateS?

How did you get your stamina to reach 50 a week? I think I'm gonna start a new campaign with a preset character....

I just beat Lincoln/Grant with Kerry/Edwards 276/262 in campaign mode on my umpteenth attempt. No codes, no tricks, no nothing.

This might just solidify my status as the greatest person of all time.

What is the farthest y'all have been able to make it with a default character in campaign?

I tend to win electoral college quite easily and almost always lose the popular vote by a lot.
I once managed to win clearly with less money and less policital capital than the opponent (doing speeches to raise the issues that would harm him)...

I don't know...it came like that..I went in for some investigating...looked in the Data folder and found that Bill Clinton had '50' stamina...wonder how that happened???

Hey, I keep putting my exit polls JPG in the "image" window, but it won't show up. How do you display it?

I have a question. Maybe I shouldn't put this here. I am Dick Cheney vs Al Gore right now on the Campaign Mode. Can you set a difficulty for campaign mode or not? Because Right now he gets like 35 states on his side by week 16, and I can't seem to catch up...

How does he do it? I'm curious if they make it this hard onpurpose or if I can change the difficulty.

STALEMATE!

It said in the news paper that I lost but in the win screen it said I won the electorial vote.
Another funny thing is that Bush chose the Hitler candidate I downloaded from somebodies
website showing his true colors.

I kicked the living crap out of Taft quite easily (59% and 50 states). He was getting ahead in a lot of states by creating ads, while I was working on making HQs. About halfway through the game, his ads disappear. It turns out he ran out of money. From there on in, it was incredibly easy. I even won his home state. I worked on turning red states blue, national ads, and sending my VP to states that aren't worth the effort of building HQs (New Hampshire/Maine/Vermont and most of the midwest). Then I built up a lot of political capital, and won 4 endorsements in the last week, which tipped the balance. Oh, and my character was Chloe Sullivan and a character I designed to work well with her (full experience, money, fundraising, religion, and military experience at the expense of everything else).

How do you bank your stamina points?
Also I've beaten every one up to Nixon quite easily but against Nixon the score usually comes Nixon 534 Me 4 (For some reason I always get Rhode Island even though I never camapign their and i'm not from there) how do I counteract all the endorsements Nixon gets? I just can't figure out.
Lastly what website did you download Hitler from?

First campaign game. Made it past Al Gore Barely, then got to Clinton who keeps blowing me away.
Using Condeleza Rice, who doesn't seem to be able to keep pace (apparently lack of endurance) and my lack of
significant fund raising techniques, can get an early lead but then get slaughtered by the campaign ads and
not enough voter recognition.
Best I managed was 213 electoral votes (not sure how to get a screenshot).
Read the strategy forums so will try something different next time.
Quite enjoyable game, expect to see some significant improvements in the future.

Monster Kabasue: How did Hillary Clinton become a Republican? and How'd you get the book to say World Domination?
Thats a bug I think, with the Reps choosing Dems as their VP's, and I think it can happen vise versa as well. Though, hehe, I'm not entirely sure how he got that book to say that, hehe, thats quite amusing though.

How did you create a candidate with "extra" points? Not that I feel that I need extra points to win ( at least to the point of the game I'm at), but I'd enjoy creating some candidates of the past (not included in the game) and making them better than the standard 75 point created character.

Come on now, Arnold has a comeliness of 6? You telling me that people find him no more visually appealing than the average oldster candidate?
