Monday morning.

I'm writing from my office, before my 8:10 AM class. Thanks, Pogue and Joe : it was a great 4½ hours of gaming. I'm available to continue any evening, this week.

I control 4 planets, and my big fleet controls the only entry-point to the four. The next planet is a Gas Giant : nothing interesting there. My problem is that when I move my big fleet there, the comps (dark blue + pink) pounce on the fourth planet I just left with few defenses. I must hold on to my fourth planet, the arctic one, because I need its logictic and tactical slots.

Things were just starting to get good with light blue when we had to stop for the night. that sucked. :/ Oh well.....I think I can be pretty flexible this week with what day we continue with the game, assuming we all want to. Joe, what day is good for you? Oh and yes the baby in my avatar is my son.

Im pretty sure any night this week is fine with me.

Alright I'll check in at the usual time(8pm) tonight and if the two of you are around we can try and finish this game up!

Bad news !

My girlfriend just read me the "riot act". She does not agree that I can neglect her two evenings in a row.

Consequently, I cannot play tonight (Monday).

But I will be free the other evenings of this week : for example, tomorrow (Tuesday), at 8 PM, would be OK.

Sorry, but she went to bed yesterday at 10 PM and I was in at 1 AM : two evenings in a row of that kind of situation is not "romantic".  :NOTSURE:

Great to have some news from you! Tonight, we're finishing a game. The trick is to regularly visit this thread, especially between 7 and 7:55 PM (USA EST time). That's when we finalize the roster for a new game and distribute its passowrd by forum PM.

You cannot delete posts on this forum, and you cannot edit them when someone has posted a message after yours. I disagree with that forum policy.

Yes. I can start at any moment from now. My girlfriend has university classes : she won't be back until 10 PM. Also, I don't have to go to work on Wednesdays.

7:30 is OK with me.

1. It would allow us to edit mistakes or sloppy language we would want to remove or correct.

2. Deleting a post would allow someone to totally change his mind (or erase a double post).

Anyway, quotes, here, are executed without personal attribution : consequently, if someone quotes a post that has been edited or erased, after the quote, nobody is personally targeted -- and everybody would understand (if they cared to look) that the quote's source has been removed.
