After the success on the Troll Thumping Day Suite some members of the Mother Thumpers are coming together to create the "Happy Birthday Suit(e)".

I envision this suite centered around a DX gadget that counts down to your birthday. On your birthday the gadget will prompt you to download the most recent incarnation of the suite components so for your special day, your desktop will celebrate with you.

At this point we have some components assigned to artists but this is a collaborative project and welcome input and assistance from everyone. Please jump in and help out if you'd like.

I'd like to keep vertical folders out

I like the current look.  I wonder if you could use some significant transparency to utilize the Live folder functionality.  For example . . if teh back was opaque and horizontal and the front was transparent/translucent . .  .

Ahhh crap!  I don't know what I'm talking about.  Carry on with yoru best work.  :)

I tried the live folder horizontal and it doesn't work because the thumbnails are still vertical. I PMed mormegil about it and he said there's nothing I can do about it. I'll work on the vertical folder again and see if I can't perfect it ;) (at least, to my standards).

Just an FYI for everyone: the IP is almost finished :CONGRAT: . I have 16 icons left, some of which will be simple copy-and-pasters, others I'll have to draw from scratch. If tomorrow is anything like today, then I'll be steadily working a good bit of the afternoon and should have this baby ready for testing on Monday :D .

Harley: Would you mind sending me a present ? I want to use your present/gift graphics for the recycle bin and favorites folder. I have the bundled presents/gifts graphics (with the balloons), but I just need one. Thanks!!

Sorry, I've been in Scotland and France since the Olympics began. Missed the opening ceremony traveling. Still in France now, but I'm coming home today. I thought that you were finishing this up the day after my last post, zubaz? Even though it's 'Completed', when I've got my XP PC back or Photoshop Elements I will continue with the Xion skin if you want. Not on till after 3:30 PM. 8:00 AM now. See y'all later.

Wow, the IP looks great! I'm back in England using the PC on the TV. Just need to find Photoshop... Or the XP installation disk! Fingers crossed I find it soon...

The volume on the expanded skin look very out of place still.
The stop button doesn't match.
The interface change button doesn't match
The font choice  . . I'm just not sure about that.

alibear - Have you tried using the font that Harley (the AVMAN) used in the WB? I'm not sure how legible it would be on the Xion skin, but, IMHO, it's worth a shot. Otherwise, it looks great :CONGRAT:

Ok, what font do you suggest? Oh, and I couldn't use the same button for stop on mini... Which one is best? if the large version then I'll have another crack, or try something else.

That's a point... AVMAN, please could you majke me a stop button and a change interface button?

I'll adjust the volume stuff on large. Anything else?
