It's hard AD for me to comment on that which I don't know. I'm not in tune with all this what you wrote of. I mean maybe Huck really doesn't believe McCain is dishonest. I'm thinking that's pretty interesting to say since they are running against each other. It almost seems like an honest thing to say.

WWW LinkWALLACE: Let's start with the two frontrunners in Florida. John McCain says that Mitt Romney once supported a timetable for U.S. withdrawal from Iraq. Romney says McCain is being, quote, "dishonest." Who's right?
HUCKABEE: I've never known John McCain to be dishonest. He and I disagree on some issues, certainly on immigration and how we ought to build a border fence by a time certain, which I believe. I support a human life amendment. He does not.
But dishonest? I've never seen John McCain say something that was just blatantly untrue. The reason that I'm aware of Mitt Romney's statement about the secret timetable is because that was originally proposed by a senator from my state, Senator Mark Pryor.
And there are published reports that I've witnessed and seen, more than one, in which Mitt Romney did, in fact, talk about support for not a public timetable but a secret timetable that would be held by administration officials, members of Congress."
Then either Huckabee is also dishonest or he's running low on oxygen from having his head so far in the sand by saying such things.
Here's what McCain said:
McCain, at a town hall in Fort Myers, said Friday: "Now, one of my opponents wanted to set a date for withdrawal that would have meant disaster."
He was talking about Romney, and linked the former Massachusetts governor to Democrat Hillary Rodham Clinton, who has said she would begin to withdraw troops within 60 days of becoming president, if elected in November.
"If we surrender and wave a white flag, like Senator Clinton wants to do, and withdraw, as Governor Romney wanted to do, then there will be chaos, genocide, and the cost of American blood and treasure would be dramatically higher."
Romney never embraced the idea of a public withdrawal date. When Clinton and other Democrats sought a public date or timetable last year, Romney said in an interview that the U.S. should have timetables, but not public ones.
Here is the quote McCain cited, from ABC's "Good Morning America" in April 2007.
Question: "Do you believe that there should be a timetable in withdrawing the troops?"
Romney: "Well, there's no question that the president and Prime Minister (Nouri) al-Maliki have to have a series of timetables and milestones that they speak about. But those shouldn't be for public pronouncement. You don't want the enemy to understand how long they have to wait in the weeds until you're going to be gone. You want to have a series of things you want to see accomplished in terms of the strength of the Iraqi military and the Iraqi police, and the leadership of the Iraqi government."
Romney's campaign said he was talking about benchmarks toward success, not dates for withdrawal, when he said the U.S. and Iraqi presidents "have to have a series of timetables and milestones."

So either Huckabee is also dishonest about not knowing McCain to be dishonest or he is hyperventilating due to lack of oxygen by having his head stuck in the sand.
This just happens to be the most recent incident where as there are many others.
McCain said that his Immigration bill wasn't Amnesty when it was.
He lied about stooping to low blows in campaigning.
There are many more!
But these must be personality issues against McCain too?
