Look on the bright side i don't discriminate, i never give votes for anything i download,quite frankly i would'nt want some git who does'nt know the first thing about skinning voting for anything i made, it should only be skinners themselves & experianced ones at that, that vote ,not general joe public like myself,the best gauge is how many downloads you get,i could mention rank ho but then i'd be talking about myself

Yes, I don't think that they are all that great but there were only 611 downloads and it appears that only 2-4 people rated. That's just their opinion, if you like it, you may consider it good but I don't recommend running around saying that it's superior to others.

Maybe SD will move the rating away from the download button...mistakes are made that way. Also, maybe the rating thing isn't as important as your own sense of accomplishment having produced somethiong you like?

Having said that, if you mis-rate, you can re-rate and the last rating will overwrtie the previous.

Ok I'm sure somone will complain about me bringing this thread back from the dead but I'll use the excuse that i was out of town and just came across it today.

First I'd have to say if youre going to have the gall to claim your work superior to anything else ever posted here that you should make sure youre posting something more than a plain black dock that looks alot like something someone else has already done.

I would say that from what I have seen around this community there are alot of people here who are smart enough to know that no matter how good their work is there are still others who do just as great a job or better.

As for myself I make what i make to kill time as I take the winters off and have to much time on my hands. I am far from being great at creating graphics(I'm sure far from being even good in some eyes) but I make what I make for myself and post it here for the fun of it.

That just translates as some have the ability to resist the temptation to blow their own horn/s...;)

Sure, some will concede there are better works around....but even then they won't see their own being on the absolute bottom of the pecking-order....;)
