And at the same time that Pres. Bush gets to celebrate a win on the government spending bills, he gets a 'win' on the war funding bill.  $70 billion with no strings, no deadlines, no dates certain, and no meddling by the Congress.  What happened to the Democrat opposition?  Oooops, I suppose it was sent scurrying when news started trickling out that the surge is working and things are getting better in Iraq.
