Hi all and welcome to the Tyranny of Evil. The Tyranny of Evil is a dedicated Metaverse empire that has risen to prominence in just 1 year. 2nd place on the AltMeta and a soon to be 3rd place in the MV is no small feat from an empire with ~39 active players.

Dedicated to the pursuit of evil, we encourage all players, new or veterans, to join us in our quest to be the strongest, most active and long lived empire in the Metaverse.

We pride ourselves on being one of the most active empires in the MV or the Altmeta, and it is that activity that makes us unique. Our members are active submitters of games and have a very strong and prominent forum presence.

Perhaps some sort of hive-queen?Ahh the imagination of the weak and foolish. Only a frightened being would dare conjure up such nonsense in a vague hope of it being true and their lives being saved. The ToE is more than happy for you to believe such nonsense if it makes you feel at ease. As for hive-queens, we have our uses for such things, some slow roasted cashews and a bottle of Torian ale seems to go best with them.

What about these latest intelligence reports that shows Neilo making ch'rowl with a whole group of clones at once? ;)

Hi all. Well i managed to get 3rd place on the MV last night....(insert applause here) and we have closed the gap the the HCH down now to a few 100K.

A few more games and we will have 3rd place. I will be playing about 7 more games with Centurion and then retiring him and focusing on BMF and mumbler strats.

Just thought i'd do a little self promoting guys. After doing so many ZYW's i thought perhaps an AAR based on a ZYW might be interesting.

Iv'e done chapter 1 and will have chapter 2 up in a few days....

as a side note, can you believe almost 1300 replies in this thread?! it wasn't that long ago that we were seeing who would get the 666th post.

just goes to show how cool the ToE is (heck, even I had to come crawling back eventually)

Thanks on the Medal too mate, and no we sure shot up from 666 to the 1300 mark....I guess the next thing we will be wondering is who will get post 1666?????

Finally finished one, 59 thou and change on a tiny map. Military was almost 1 500 000 rating.

Played as good,(washes mouth out). I wanted to see what advantages and disadvantages these good guys had.

My MVL game has taken me away from my empire game for the time being, but I'll be back at it again soon. I am really having a great game with this months MVL settings, lots of drama :D . It should be a glorious victory for the Eternal Villainy!

Welcome Dark Angel! We welcome all followers of evil, especially those from our allies the Olympian Gods. You will find many others with the ToE that share their time with the OG, and if you look hard enough you will even find one Tyrannt that sneaks away to the litter box from time to time.....

We did it guys!!!! We finally got there, we have the 3rd place on the MV and a new medal.



Thankyou to all the ToE members who have taken one of the smallest empires in the MV from nothing just 1 year ago to 3rd place on the MV!!!!

All this with only 39 active players.......Congrats to all!!!

So are your medals visible in replies now? I don't see them and AFAIK they've been gone since they added the Karma/Report feature, but perhaps it's just me that can't see the medals.

It's an IE issue. I switched to Firefox just a few days ago because of another forum problem, and I can now see the medals.


That's what's happening here, too. I use Firefox at home, but we have IE at work, so no medals until I get home. The "Can't Open Site, Operation Aborted" issue is still here at work as well, but Firefox doesn't seem to have that problem.

Yeah, one reason I switched was that I couldnt read the latest page(s) of the Year Zero Club thread (Operation Aborted msg), and I was also tired of not seeing the medals. But like Motti, I still have IE at work.
