And I see that Crown Royal has changed their Special Reserve bottle since a few months ago.  Nicer, IMO.  Fancier and heavier little bag, too.  Time for a few more sips. 

*sneaks humbly up to keyboard*  Well, I managed to squeeze 535k out of my initial effort here at ToE. *notices that Motti scored a MILLION more points in his game* Since a number of things went tragically wrong, I decided to end my suffering just shy of 6 years. A few tweaks, and I should be 100 or 200k higher next game *slinks off quietly*

Nice game, my latest game ,on the other hand, bombed worser than the movie adaption of Watchmen.

There should be little doubt that about the scoring potential of the ToE when promted to do so. I feel honoured to be the emperor of such a fantastic bunch of people!!

the empire gained over a million points in a single MV update last night. that was impressive to see.

Ive just done some editing with the Senators. I just went through and picked names that stood out to me that has been influential/active/contributer either within the ToE or in the GC2 community as a whole.

Have a look guys and tell me if i missed anyone that you think meets the above requirments.

SerArris, when i added you i noticed that the forums are borked on your account. Your character and some info in your submitted games do not show up. Do you see the same thing?

It shows me ranked at 49 with 535k points, which is as it should be. I only have the one game submitted so far. Thanks for the honor, by the way!!!

That is strange, isn't it. I wonder if we have just uncovered UE Flaw Number 7? Or would if be Flaw No. 8? I'm starting to loose track. Well, at least the score is getting credited, and that is what is really important. Maybe it will straighten itself out on the second game.

@CL. Well we discussed the adding of secondary chars as senators and most felt that each person only needed one of their characters a senator.

I addd MottiKhan instead of Evil Twin since the MottiKhan character is Motti's original char and one of the three or four founding members of the empire.

I would be happy to swap characters over though if folks would rather a different character be a senator rather than the one i have chosen for them.

Hey, CL. That tip of yours is really swell! It is April 22, 2229, and I have 370 of the 477 known planets on my map! I will probably get 5 more next turn, too. I have a nifty twist that I'll tell you about later.

Thanks for the thought, CL.  I think primary characters are best suited to be senators though.

@Neilo - Yep.  As I recall, you had set up the new empire from the ruins of the HCH.  Drakk123 was the first to join, followed by me, PlayJeff45 and DanTheMonkeyMan.  (I found and early post that showed the first 5 members in order of joining).

Really, that was the order? I'll have to look at that. I knew Jeff was there very early on but i thought you and Marshall were pretty much members within that week too.

I'll check and make sure those people are senators.

Yep, Marshall joined very early too, but at first, he declined and said all 3 characters were spoken for.  

Looking at the early dates, it appears that there was you on June 5, 2007. 

Three of us joined on June 6,  Drakk123 (aka Harat), me and PlayJeff45. 

DanTheMonkeyMan (aka vox) joined on June 17. 

Marshall joined on June 18. 

Herodias and The Mad Dragon  joined June 21.

DethAdder and Wargoat (aka Lord Apophis) joined on June 23.  That rounds out the first 10. 

So I joined the first day that the empire took in members with my Evil Twin character.  I brought my main character over from the HCH later. 

That was before the kitties were in the top spot.  It was the HCH, followed by the Diplomats as I recall.  I think the Orcas were at #3. 

A trip down memory lane.   

Wow I didn't realize I snuck in there within the first ten. Haven't seen some of those names in quite awhile. Kinda surprised Marshall hasn't been back around to visit lately.

That was before the Kzinti existed actually.  I founded the empire in the beginning of August 2007.  Grats to all of us (Kzinti & Tyrants) for coming such a long way in a short time.

Yes, Congrats to both the Kzinti and Tyranny for coming so far so fast. 

I didn't remember that the Kzinti weren't even around then.  My third character was MiaowaraTomokato and he started in the Kzinti Empire.  I didn't have a third character until then.

I later swapped my second member's primary character (Dick Dastardly) for MiaowaraTomokato and renamed the member as Solembum.  My third character then became ThePrinceOfInsufficientLight.

I've been recylcling names.  I even have another Dick Dastardly character in my Llama_Man member, among others. 

And another non-aligned unused member.   I should put that one up for grabs in the Tyranny.  I probably won't install it and there's no point in having it languish in a desk drawer.  Maybe a contest or something. 

I know!  The first Tyrant to demand it at the Round Table gets the extra game. (It's DL only, but it's a start).

I really had no clue about the MV or empires back then....my fist submittal with DevilCat was a loss.  I thought the points would be a simple sum of points submitted, so that whether games were losses or wins it would keep adding up.  I created a post about my new empire, which nobody ever responded to (hehe), and less than a handful of people joined in that first month.  I had originally planned to create the Klingon Empire or maybe The Borg, but opted for something more obscure mainly to do something a little different.

Somebody slip me some karma so Motti doesnt catch up!

Speaking of karma, it's been a while Neilo, so +1 for you for guiding the Tyrants to great success!
