CL, are you a fellow mexican boarder region denizen? *sigh* to my knowledge no one else in the empire knows the joy of the california burrito.

Upon moving to Michigan one of the biggest shocks that came to me was that I couldn't find anywhere that sold good Mexican food. Thankfully my mom taught my wife to cook Mexican food the right way. What sucks is that we can't find green chile at any of the stores around here other than the diced kind in the little cans. Every summer we have my folks smuggle us a few bushels from Colorado so we can have some (for a few months at least).

And yes I've had California Burritos before but the best burritos I've ever had were from a little stand that was outside of the machine shop I worked in when I was in Colorado. It was a bean and cheese burrito smothered with a chicken/green chile sauce, and taking a bite of one was about as close to heaven as I have been. :w00t: :dur:

sweet. and i don't consider the CA burrito to be the best, but i love it as a stand-by. the best burrito i've ever had was very similar: rice, beans, cheese and carnitas smothered in red enchilada sauce.

All the Mexican food that serve at the resturaunts suck here in New Hampshire. Although there are some really good local pizza resturants such as Pizza By Gerorge, Luigi's and Pizza Quest.

If yer ever in my pisshole town Seth, I'll have to show you to the one pizza place that I haven't found a topper for taste.  That and scenery...every girl there is early 20s, straight off the boat italian, smoking hot.

Where do you live?

Bloomsburg, PA.  If you'd be here, I'd even pay as I'd feel sorry for ya lol.

ROTFLOL.....Seth, you are right, there is NO decent Mexican food in New Hampshire. Except at my house!

But I only moved here five years ago from Kansas City where you get awesome Mexican food..plus we know hot to cook in KC...although Adrian is right, I bet he did have one of the best burritos in Colorado. The mile high state has some of the best Mexican you'll ever eat. The Kzinti quesadilla recipe is actually my very own chicken quesadilla recipe that is to die for. You can leave the black beans out if you want, but don't you dare leave out the fresh chopped cilantro. That is the stuff of magic. Top with sour cream after cooking, they are extremely good.

The tartare recipe is also my own recipe. Use Top Round, and ask your butcher to grind it. The worcester, dijon, and salt make it just fabulous....if you can eat raw meat. I can. I can eat a lot of it. Whole cows of it. :dur:

Gentlemen, today is a grand day for Lieutenant Count Alejandro Montoya. Not only was today the official publication day of the "Sentient Species in Special Sauces" cookbook by yours truly (order yours now for only 29.95 BC's, intergalactic postage paid!)......

.....but I have just posted a 1,025,000 point score to the MV!!! My first million plus point game!! I must ask, is this the first over-million point total for a TA 2.02 game? Or did Magnumaniac have one already? I feel quite giddy with today's success and I wish to thank all my compadres in the ToE for helping make this possible. The pointers I picked up in the throne room have certainly helped up my game.

I'm going to play Drengin next!

Hello

@Clanlindsey, You live KC,  where?  because there is  a real good mexican place  over by the bottoms before (38th and boardway)  WestPort area, I think it's callled  Orego's. Homemade style not like Taco Bell. x_x

@Mottikhan, KP, Neilo, & Cypher: Thanks guys!!

@Neilo: Can I be a senator now, lol?

@gm00nii: I used to live right by 38th and Broadway, back in the day!! There are lots of great Mexican places in that area, but the best concentration is right downtown off I-35 at the Kemper Arena exit (which is the Bottoms). I'm impressed with your KC Mexican dining acumen, especially since you are from Indonesia! If I had to guess, I'd say you went to med school there?

That's SHE Loup. :bebi::grin:   But point taken.  However its really the combination of size color and font that makes it a bit hard to read.

Hrm, my bad.  Never really looked into the bio, just saw a male yoda avatar...

Never judge a book by it's cover I guess held true.

i wasn't yelling. i made an effort to be polite and diplomatic when i asked her to reduce her font size. but i do nonetheless see the humor.

"yell" was a poor choice of word.  Perhaps...commented on.

@GmOOnii: Almost everyone here just sits down and starts typing when they are going to reply. The default font size is pretty much perfect for reading and writing. This is just a suggestion, but you could simply type what you're going to say without even touching the font-size button. As you would say....

....Mmmm. Resist the urge, you must. Mmmm....

Also, I'm pretty sure you don't need to say "Hello" every single time you post. Having to read....

Hello:D

....over and over again can be pretty tiresome after a while.

Just some suggestions.
