Hi Jacklv, those are loaded questions around here!!! I'm definitely a Jayhawk, and any truly commited Jayhawk will just look blankly at you over the Chiefs vs. Broncos question, lol. For a real Jayhawk, Chiefs vs Broncos is like Uzbekistan vs. Kryzgistan.....who cares!

I live only a couple of hours from KC as the crow flies. I've only been here a few years though and haven't gotten around to actually visiting KC yet.

I know, I saw you are in Lebanon. I've spent a lot of the finer hours in my life stomping around in your neck of the woods, hunting and fishing since I was old enough to do either. I fly-fish in the Ozarks at least four times a year and have done so since I was seven. IIRC you live in the county with the highest deer population in the whole country, let alone some of the finer fishing, which should now make you the envy of all the sportsmen on these boards. Heck, you can't back out of a driveway in Lebanon without backing over 3 wild turkeys sometimes. I hope you are taking advantage of your non GalCiv recreational opportunities.....I wish I was there.

Here in town I don't see much, but I drive to the lake for work everyday and see plenty in between. I'm just not a hunter myself, but will take in some fishing in a few good spots I know . Hunting is huge around here though, some industries damn near shutdown during hunting season

Jack, you know your KC history!! But nope, it's not Boss Pendergast, it is John Brown, the abolitionist, taken from the famous mural by Curry in the Kansas Statehouse. My first avatar was a photo of John Brown, this second a painting. They both capture what I think are decidedly the scariest eyes I have ever seen.
