Thanks to everyone for posting the above issues. The feedback is much appreciated and we are getting to them as fast as we can. But now its time to get some sleep.  We will resume in the morning when we wake up.

However, I would like to ask again, that when reporting a problem or problems please include the URL's of the page(s) in which you are experiencing the problem.  And also include as much information as possible about the problem/error.  This will greatly help us out in locating and fixing the reported issues.

there is a horizontal lite-blueish bar directly under the black bar where the search box located.

On that lite-blueish bar there is a "Home" link on the left side but nothing on the right. hmm...maybe I am missing the Silverish-Gray bar where the......

OK another bug when I using Opera browser


And will be possible to choose more than 8 skins per page???
When I am bookmark directly my personal page,I dont have same tabs to choose from as on home page,for example Skin tab(to view statistic page with all my skins) etc.

How does one know when a new comment as been added to a skin? Used to be a notification on the My Skins page.

Repeating problem in different parts of pages,when using Opera (can somebody confirm these bugs while using Opera or is it just me and I am doing something wrong???

Bebi, bohemy, I wouldn't hold your breath for lots of Opera tweaks . . . not for a while at least.  Safari gets more use than opera here and none of the apps work on Macs!

The above link bring me to the CursorXp Gallery not to the skin that the URL says its going to....when I get to the page the URL still reads same way but it did not bring me to the skin - only to Cursor Xp Gallery. ( URL Below)

Of course I tried that,either in IE or Opera,but I can see only 8 skins per page choice
And about an Opera,true is I love this browser(and I really dont want to switch it),so as your site,that's why I try to hightlight the bugs,point your attention on it and help you solve the problems.So,I am discovering a new site,trying to get familiar with it,at this time I miss some good stuff from the old site,but in time everything will be fine and everybody will love it.

Can you log in with a different browser and see if you can set the number of skins per page there and thn see if it is reflected in Opera?

I do not like not being able to search for skins anymore. There is nowhere to search by author name, skin name or anything anymore. Please tell me this and the ability to access our personal page from anywhere and the comment count are going to be restored. Please. Also would like to see a daily count of our downloads, comments, referrals ect. back. Please.

The new search feature is pretty cool. Just remember it is specific to the area you are in. Looking for an author for walls, just type in the author name in the search box with the spyglass at the top of the page in the wall section and away you go.

I agree about the lack of totals and the need to have new comment notifications though on the My Skins page.

Just one more thing..are our Articles that we have done since September of last year ever going to show up in our articles section? I have at least 8 articles that are not listed on my personal page, and I have noticed many others that don't have theirs listed either. Thank you.

clwoods, when in the forums the Search filed at the top of the page searches the forums and articles.  That same field on the Home, Gallery, etc pages search skins, authors, etc.

I just search for a skin name and an artist and got good results.

You can reach your personal page from anywhere (except the forums) by clicking My Site under the search field.  Comment count can be reached by clicking on My Skins (next to My Site).

If you don't see them, clear your cache and try again.

I have also IE7 and it doesnt work there,still only 8skins per page.(cleared cache deleted cokies..RELOADED-NOTHING)
When I am on My personal site and click Skin tab,I see first page with my skins done and how I get on second page I dont see any clicable button for changing pages(in Opera of course )

Thanks Aaron, I'm glad to know that! About the comments. I see the comment count. It's just that there isn't notification anymore when a new comment is left. There use to be a closed envelope that went up next to a skin with new comments. Then if it received more comments the envelope had a little blue paper on it similar to the threads. That service is no longer available. Now the only way to know is to look at each skin individually. As it stands now, unless we happen to know the exact count of comments for each skin, many new comments will be missed and unanswered because We won't know they are there. See what I mean?

Ok, here comes a reply to most of the issues that were replied about... Grab a water or something, it's a read.

 

On the activity page of my personal site, under Skin Comments, if I click on a skin that is in the GUIC category it bombs out with an error.

PurrBall : I cant seem to generate an error. This may have been fixed, but if you are still seeing the error, please provide a url that you can reliable reproduce the error.

Hello, Wincustomize 2007 is not yet compatible with Opera. Please use Firefox or IE for the time being. We are planning to implement the nessesary changes for Opera support, but we have no timetable as of yet.

We appreciate very much the input about Opera problems, but please hold off on reporting any other Opera problems until we announce official support for Opera.

Not sure if this has been mentioned or not, but nothing is showing up on my WC site for the Featured Skin. In fact, the Favorites list (I guess it's the new name for Recommended Skins?) is completely empty. I know I had a bunch of stuff in there, but it all appears to be MIA.

A few things i noticed. The page toggle arrows in Wallpapers don't work. I don't see My Skins. I don't see any place to update my skins. I posted a comment in my WB skin and it didn't show up.

Im showing the pager arrows working fine, could this because youre on Page 1 of 1 for some reason?
Look about your username in the upper right hand corner of the site. Youll see 'My: ... Skins' thats a link.
Click on the skin you wish to edit and you will see an Edit link that will allow you to update your skin.
I'm showing posting comments on skins as working. If this continues to be a problem please let me know.

clwoods You can search for skins by skin name or author name by entering either in the search box in the top left. An extended search is planned but there is no timetable for that featur being released. The articles page on the personal sites (trying to get people away from 'personal page' and towards 'personal site' - as its not just one page ) currently lists Wincustomize categories only. We're going to be changing that to list articles from all categories.

Bohemy, Zubaz If you are a WIncustomize subscriber you have many options on the My Account page for how many skins you would like to view per page. If you have an Access higher than Citizen then you are allowed more options as well. By default Citizens are only allowed to view 8 skins per page. We are currently in dicussion about increasing that number.

clwoods Thanks for persisting about that feature. We're aware that it is missing. The old site was incredibly inefficient when it came to that particular feature and we are still researching how to implement it better.

As an "arist" with only three skins . . I know all my download and comment count.    [Kinda sad and pathetic, I know]
