Report New WinCustomize Bugs and Other Issues

If you are running FireFox and are having general display issues are are unable to see your login information then please try the following:

a)  Clear your cookies and cache.  Firefox is not properly fetching updates to our files and will still use some old files from its cache which will cause problems.  Clearing your cache will fix most problems.

Please make sure you are running the latest edition of FireFox.  Older versions of Firefox have many display bugs that will cause the new website to display incorrectly in  your browser.

I just started a new post on this issue but I thought I would copy it over here as well.

I used to be able to check my total downloads for the day by pulling up my page with all my skins. I can still get an overall total which is nice but it would also be nice to still have the ability to get a total for the day. The column still shows downloads by skin for the current day & overall but the column sum at the bottom of the list shows 0

Not a priority because I can just copy & paste the numbers into an excel spreadsheet to get total downloads for the day but it would be nice to still have that functionality - it was on the old site and it looks like it can work on this site since the sum at the bottom of the column shows 0 - maybe the formula to sum up those values can be fixed when someone has some time to look into it.

Overall the new site layout is nice, still getting used to looking for specific things that were easier to find before but that will get easier as I get used to the new layout (ex. total downloads by author for all galleries or just by a specific gallery for a specific period of time was a nice feature and it was a link on the main page on the previous site)

The above link will bring me to my own skins page for the bootskin library (32) and show me downloads by skin for the day. However at the bottom of the screen, the formula for adding up the downloads that happened today has been zero'd out.

Also can someone verify that our subdomains have been removed and won't be returning, I used to have the following subdomain: http://unclerob.wincustomize.com - I'm assuming the new site doesn't allow for this anymore.

Improvements are welcome. But I don't understand how I can see subscriber's resources, which were easily accessible in the old site. Now i can't find premium suites for subscribers.

Yes, Where did the Premium Skin Suites for subscribers go?!

Hello Again Moletai, I think what you are experiencing is a bug. I logged in using your account settings and see that the page should be displaying details, but rather displays what a user who is not yet a subscriber. I'll look into why, and I'll see about getting this fix for you. Thanks for pointing this out, Moletai!

Moleti and Kroogs, take a look at the Subscriber resources link in the upper right.  That should be all you need.

I managed to fix mine - but i will email you as I think this is not something that should be available - there is a check box for this if you want it available but mine is plainly not checked off but still viewable.

Ps : I like pink slippers

None of the links in skin descriptions work anymore.I was afraid this would happen.Happened last time we had a new site rollout.Whats the best way to fix the links?They are kinda important to help people find other skin elements,personal site promotion and linking to other artist work.

Plus they arnt even links anymore,just text.

I already noticed this - that kinda sux cos all my stuff runs off of links from jazzymjr's WB's and all the links went to " My Skins " and I can't view anyones skins list anymore - they dont exist at the moment. My own skin list I can view - but if I save the URL it doesn't bring me back to MY SKINS - it brings me to WC skin gallery.

Premium Skin Suites for subscribers are still gone. sorry.

In settings I can only pick to display 8 skins per page...the page has room for 3 times that many.

Cant get to your own page except thru the main page.

Before the last refit you could nearly go anywhere on the site with one click...clicking is no big deal...til the site bogs down and you have to wait for pages to load that you dont even want to be on.

Zubaz, a bug was identified in the logic determining who can have access to this data. A new build of the site containing this fix will be up shortly. We are just batching our updates in groups to help minimize the site downtime during those updates.

tried to update the links on a skin and it hung up.
What happened to links anyway...they are not clickable anymore.

Once I get use to this new set up I'm sure I will like it. I hate getting use to new things! hehe. One thing I would like to mention that is missing..well a few things. New comments are not highlighted on our skins page anymore so we know we have one, and our medals for "Feature Skin" are gone. I also miss the download count we use to have. The one that showed us the last one and by whom.

I was having the same problems not seeing the things in the upper right also. But I changed my link to the site from www.wincustomize.com to wincustomize.com and that fixed the problem.

I will say,none of this can be easy for youse guys...so please take my negativity in stride...I dont feel too great today.  

I also notice that I am listed as a subscriber (which I am) but am given the number 4 now instead of a 5. This may be why some, including me are not able to see the premium skins on the resource page.

I agree with Cindi - once we all get used to this new site Im sure it will be much better . I like it , just having trouble trying to view things like I used to.
I'll sure you'll get all the bugs sorted out eventually.

I'm not seeing the thread icons update properly. They show as being read, but I've found several that had gotten back to the top with multiple new replies and no change to the "read" state. Firefox2 latest version.

The premium skins and everything are back on the resource page!!! Way to go guys!
