I come here today to announce a new metaverse empire, the Hitchhikers of the Galaxy.

This is a Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy themed empire and anyone is welcome to join, even if you don't even know what the guide is . In fact, the only requirement is that you have a sense of humour.



Join our ranks and become part of our community. Over here at the Hitchhikers, your more then "just another member". Join us now and together we shall dominate the metaverse! In those already large empires(Diplomats for example) there is no need for ambition as they are already in a secure position. Help us tear down the very foundations of these unworthy empires. Have your effort count for something and not just one of the many thousands of games in an empire where it shall be overshadowed by its age-long reputation weilding members. Help us dethrone them!

Anyone can join a super-power empire, but it takes a true imperial citizen to forge one. Help us forge this empire, and be that glorious senator!

You don't like the title? I don't either! But we're working on that...

Those top 10 empires have been sitting in those ranks for too long. Much too long... They shall fall and we shall be their successors...

How long have you seen those Diplomats or Kzintis or Hegemony-ions in those top ranks? You can join them but you'll never get the same kind of respect earned as you will helping build your own empire instead of joining a ready made one. Help us build YOUR empire where you can proudly say, "Come hail or high water, we shall not be surpassed"[this part bit too cheesy, me thinks]

For every galaxy you dominate is just another day for the one of the Galactic Civilizations but its the start of a new day for the Hitchhikers of the Galaxy... as the new rising champions for the metaversal throne!

The AltMeta just updated with my game. We now have only a 5000 pt gap between us and 8th place.

In the official meta, 36K will get us 10th place. I'll do another suicidal soon. But this time in a small galaxy. Maybe right now.

Bad news, The Colonial Fleet recently gained a 140K game and that really sets us back. We need at least one player to make a Gigantic game with a 120K points(military starbase array). I'll bridge the gap with a suicidal tiny.

If you're wondering, my suicidal small went woefully wrong. I lost by a narrow margin. Well, I haven't lost yet but the suicidal is way out of my reach unless I devote a lot of energy into the game.

In more positive news, we are only 100 pts(not 1000) away from reaching 8th place in the Altmeta. Good work to whoever played that last game. C'mon now. You deserve some credit, raise your hand.

Wheee! I just deserted the HCH in favor of my fellow hitchikers. I have brought a towel with minerals embedded so that my galactic conquests can go without end. =)

I just wish I could get into my old galciv2 gaming mood... I used to love this game... now... it's just... not as fun as... it was... :SURPRISED: 

maybe if I get Dark Avatar for christmas I can start my love for this game all over...

anyway... I'll still try to get a game in now and then... the MVL is taking up alot of my galciv2 time and I've been working on my second starbase module patch.

I'm pretty sure I'll just go ahead and start a large galaxy game when I can... but if you don't know already... I score low... don't know why, I just do... but I'll try.

Welcome aboard hickers/hikers/hackers and slackers. HHGG For short and While in the top 200 of the Meta verse with the HCH I enjoy all races equally...The beef is good and the dolphin extra fishy...so have fun and run with it until you reach the edge of the Known Galaxy then be careful out there you are in Deep doodoo then.

We're just not active anymore. I posted a 6 year medium maschistic game worth 35,535 points. Only RedClaw and me are active contributors to the score.

I'm kinda thinking of joining the Tyranny of Evil.

Hitchhikers, do not the juices of conquest still flow in your livers, or have they dried up and shriveled away? I dont believe we ate too many of you, but during feeding-frenzy, the memories do get a bit blurred. ;) FireBender is an honorable warrior...will the Hitchhikers heed his call to battle? Only time will tell. We will try not to devour too many of you while this unknown destiny plays out.

No, it has fallen into decay, but go to my Metaverse Recruiting Center thread and check out the list I have. You'll find some good info to get you started in there.
