Apparently the ACLU (The clueless union) thinks so!  They have decided that the mayor of Jackson Mississippi, trying to reduce the crime in his city, has been racial profiling Blacks.  The sticky whicket is that he is Black!  And he is decrying the Black on Black Crime!  So of course the perpertrators are going to be black!

But the ACLU has decided that you cannot stop black on black crime as that is racial profiling! (that is why we search 70 year old norwegian grand mothers too)!  It is the epitomy of Orwellian speech!  Soon, police are not going to be able to give out the color of a suspected murderer, because.......it will be racial profiling!  "he was a 25 year old male, color indeterminet"!

What a load of BS!  Have they gone so far now as to accuse people of self racism?  Apparently so.  And the next step is eliminate all reference to color and features as that might lead to profiling as well.

The ACLU has truly lost its purpose.  It no longer is for any civil liberties.  It is against all liberties except for criminals!

Mayor Frank Melton may be a democrat.  But he is not a stupid one.  He is trying to make his city Safe for ALL citizens, not just black ones.  But the Clueless Union is bound and determined to make sure the only ones that have rights, are the criminals.

dammit. i KNEW i was leaving something out. chronic craven paranoia, for instance, of sufficient intensity to delude members of the majority group into truly believing they've gone from victimizers to victims. good luck with that btw.

Racism, while not an admirable sentiment, was never capable of destroying Western man, and Western society. And yes, there is a strong overlap between Western and white.


i dunno why you're using past tense. it's a slow-acting, insidious poison still doing a lotta damage. what you're misperceiving as two unique and unrelated abberations is actually phase 2 or 4 or ? the wider it spreads, the more it's diluted. i guess it's a good thing (for you) you chose to be born white and in the 20th century. had you been born black in the 19th century--or in america before 1980 or south africa before 1990--i doubt you woulda lasted very long.

Actually read and understood. But then you seem to take every thing personally. That is your problem, not mine.

Best for you to read and understand that the written word does not have body english to tell you the tone the author is stating. And leave the written word as it is stated unless an emoticon goes along with it.

I am sorry that you think when I say "left" or "liberal" that I include everyone left of center. I could qualify every statement with disclaimers, but frankly, I have done that enough in the past that had you read me then, or if you have, forgotten it, I find it a bore.

If you are always looking for qualifiers, fine. Go read the fine print on a car Contract. I frankly am tired of them.

I'm sick of this "there is no genetic difference between the races--we're all the same" BS. Scientists have breathlessly reproted many things in the past, only to later have them disproven by other reasearch. Genetics is still a fairly new science, overall, so that's makes it slightly less than reliable. No genetic difference between the races?
Then why, for example, is Sickle-cell Anemia a disease mainly contracted by blacks? It seems to pretty much leave everyone else alone. Why are blacks more prone to stiff, curly hair and broad, flatter features than other races? Genetics?

I'm sorry, but blacks DO see to be more prone to criminal activity---especially violence---than whites or other races. Stereotyping, you say? Well, stereotyping usually has a basis in fact somewhere; there had to be repeated observation of the fact, or else people wouldn't have reason to think stereotypically.
When I see an orange jumpsuit and handcuffs on the news, they're usually used somehow in inconjunction with a black--sorry--African-American---body. Deny it all you want, but it's the truth.
Oh yes, I'm sure every one of those orange jumpsuits is covering a completely innocent man or woman, right? Innocent as a newborn babe and simply being harrassed by Whitey. Right.
Tell me that you, yourself, don't feel even a twinge of suspicion when you see a carload of young black men pass you on a dark street. That you don't instinctively wonder what they're up to?
They may just be making a Colt .45 Malt Liquor, Hennesey or Courvosier run (that's stereotyping based on actual observation, by the way. I use to work n a liquor store, and more blacks bought those particular brands than anyone else. Even the ad posters we put up had black models on them). Then again, who knows? They could be heading for a drive-by or drug deal. Or both.

Last week at work, a new girl was paired for training with a more experienced woman, named Mary. Mary is black. The new girl was white.
The new girl resisted taking direction from Mary because she hates black people. She told Mary this, plainly and in no uncertain terms.
The two had words, Mary cried, and the white girl left at lunch, pissed, and never to return.
Mary was saddened and very upset, but returned to work after a short break and a few words of encouragement from our (white) plant manager and fellow employees, both white and black. Mary doesn't feel badly for herself because she's black. She, not surprisingly, knowing Mary, felt badly for the white girl. She prayed for that white girl, Lynn.
How often have you, Lynn27, encountered such blatant, bold-faced racism as that? Flat-out hatred? How often does any black person meet racism or hatred like that in today's world? They don't.
But to make their agenda work, they have to pretend they do; and so, they put on very thin skins and become very easily offended by any percieved slight. Anything at all will do.
When they stop doing that, Lynn, when you stop seeing hate and racism everywhere, even where it isn't, your nightmare will end. Good luck.
