Anyone know where you can find a Bridge Commander MAX or Milkwave import plugin? looked all over and can't find one. A SF3 max importer would be good too.

I love this idea. It would actually be quite easy to get around the whole lore of the game too. Hyperdrive is warping space to make travel between two points faster, and impulse lets you travel faster in normal space and through hyperspace... Each upgrade is a more powerful version that can be researched down to a smaller size for the same bang... So why can't a Hypergate (or whatever you want to call it) just be a giant version of that? It launches you through space at a much faster speed because you can make the hardware huge (it doesn't have to fit on a ship). It sends the ship shooting through hyper space in one direction and it exits at the target gate, back into normal space. And maybe you'd be able to upgrade the gates as you get more research. It could even be tied straight into the current engines. Where maybe a gate can take you at a speed 5 times as fast to a point as the same kind of engine, but again, since the gate is so huge and meant only for travel, it can do it better. Of course it'll also cost a huge amount to put together, and you're stuck with only two gates that can connect at any one time (no branches to other gates like SG1 with addresses).

But in summary, I would LOVE to see gates to allow faster travel. It would mean less traveling time across huge galaxies (can be a pain), it would add a whole new element of strategy too. Like trying to build a gate near an enemy system without getting caught to send a mass invasion. Or partnering with another race and each building a gate for a "highway" trade route. It would be great!

You guys are really awesome!

How about Voyager with the armor tech mod from the last 2 episodes LOL. Okay maybe a bit much. Wow a runabout too I think I requested that one as well. Now the only cool ship missing is the time ship Relativity also appeared in Voyager series. I wish I knew how to 3d model but i'm more into programming than artistic creativity.

Ehm i was just wondering! Can you place all the files into one so you dont have to put the files in the mod folder... I kinda fuck that up every time..

So my point is can you upload a .rar (or something), containing the whole deal?

(updeates will be dl.d seperatly, tho i hope you will upload the whole thing again in another version;))

I started to dl all the ships they were releasing, but I've taken a break from dling them, it seems every time I got a new one in order to use it I needed to start a new game so now I'm just waiting for them to finish the whole mod because I'm sure they'll put it all together into one file so its easier to use.

We need some more ships and then its finish

Because of some realisation problems the first version of our Mod will contain this 6 races:

Federation
Ferengi
Klingon
Romulan
Cardassian
Borg

The Techtree promises much facettes and more hard decisions which influence the whole game. As First we will have Technologies which havent only good effects.

The battles promise higher heartbeat frequences ;o)

Well if you need help from me in anyway I can..XML typing..testing..what not..let me know. I cant do much for graphics stuff..unless there is a good tutorial I could learn..but as in the last site, I would be happy to help in anyway. LOL or if you would like a comic made up once the mod is out let me know...Ive made one for the terran alliance so I could make one for Star Trek, in honor of all the time and effort you guys have put in. Let me know!

Ok, so since I've been following this for a while I have a few questions. Let me first thank you all for the work you've done and let you know how anxious I am to play this mod. Ok, on with the questions.
1. Is this going to be a different mod, or as I'm thinking, is the old mod completly gone? (I tried to go to the old site and it's not letting me on)
2. Is there any time frame on this that you feel comfortable on giving out? (feel free to take your time, no pressure, just a curious question

Hey Spectarofdeath Just wanted to answer your questions

1. Yes, this is going to be seperate from the other mod. Since Han891 and myself were doing the ship work, you'll see the ships that were being used in the other mod. Other members who were working on that, may help out, but none of that is sure.

2. Time Frame - Yes, we will be releasing a time frame very soon, and details, all of which can be found here, or on the website as soon as we get them up. Within a very short time, I like to say 2 weeks to give ourselves room, we are going to put out a PRERELEASE BETA - for lack of a better term. We in no way consider this a completed mod release. We just want to give the players and fans races and ships to use... As from asking around and polls, we've found that to be whats wanted most. Please use the link up top and join in there to see more on that forum and use the chat.
