"Sleep" and "Work" about sums it up!

I have been spending most of the time in the fetal position, rocking back and forth and humming softly. Today I tried a different strategy, hibernation. I slept from about 10pm last night to 9:30pm tonight. Sure does make the days go faster. So if I can just do that three more times without getting fired, then it'll be Game Day before I know it!

I would like to add that I totally understand and appreciate Brad having to wait until the 21st so as not to undermine his efforts to play nice with the vendor outlets. And I'm VERY VERY appreciative about letting us preload 99% of the game early.

Well... I submitted a few scores on the Metaverse as a Gamma tester... but over the next few days I'm gonna try to finish my projects so I'll have time come release day for a real game on the reset scoreboard.

Work and sleep mostly. Hang around the forum like a bad smell. Pine for GC2 and call it "The Preciousss".

Incidentally, on the subject of the weather it is the middle of summer in New Zealand at the moment so it is warm and sunny.

BigMcLargeHuge, you are my hero. My best was seventeen hours and nowadays I can only seem to get eleven.

I've rediscovered my love of reading and Final Fantasy VII. Also, watching the tutorials helps. The only video/image/song/sound files I have not played from the preload are the three that have names telling me they are campaign spoilers.

Watching TV/Movies. I'm really starting to think I'm all but finished with video games. Nothing really interests me anymore, aside from GalCiv2.

Does stalking the developers count? I mean is it a bit over board to you know... bug their houses, make plans to kidnap their loved ones and then force them to let me download the rest early?

jk I love you guys at Stardock, loved GC1 and from the looks of the predownloaded stuff I'll love GC2 even more

Just found a copy of MOO2 after a long time without. I had given my copy to my son who lost it. So I purchased a copy from Amazon. Yeah, I paid for a 10 year old game. I'm loyal like that. I made sure to order from a local company so I got it Friday. It's still a great game.

Also MOM and the Auto Assault beta. I've been in the beta since June 2005. It's turning out to be a really great game. Sure, it's not a TBS, but I have eclectic gaming tastes.

So I spend very little time sitting in the corner staring at a spinning shiny thing.

1. Sleep is always good.

2. Playing through some of the pre-load files.

3. Working on finishing up roleplaying-related projects so my group doesn't hurt me for being behind come Friday.

4. Finally getting around to playing the Altarian Prophecy campaign.

5. Brainstorming Empire ideas. (Not that I have time to do the ideas any justice.)

6. Chores. Bleh.

Peace & Luv, Liz

Trying to play through a game of Gothic 2 by joining the mercenaries. It's a lot more boring playing through a second time than I thought it would be.

I'll probably spend the next two days watching the History and Discovery channel while talking to myself and writing occult messages on the wall with my blood.

X-Com UFO Defense, patched to work in XP, and reading R.L. Modesitt Jr. to make my brain work on how my ethics will affect my gameplay.
I was even dreaming of strategies for the game after reading Brad's accounts and the chat from customers. I better do my homework before release or my project that is due thursday is going to go badly.

Mostly playing Civ4. I'm kind of a wuss though, I only play prince level so far. The Civ4 game of the month is monarch..eekk.
I have taken a peek at the tutorials and a few of the MP3s in GC2.
I am hoping that Frogboy posts another one of his games with analysis. If not, there are less than 72 hours until release. I guess I could do that standing on my head...to coin a phrase.
