You have to download it from Stardock Central.

You should still be able to try this assuming that the autosave was not turned off on your game. Just go back to the last save, and try what Aww Nuts has said.
It takes quite a while to get up the ranks. I remember way back when, way at the bottom. Just keep at it, and you will get to the top eventually. I only occassionally submit (click on my name to see my record) and you can see that it just takes persistance. :)
Only doing my job. :)
If you put it where it says to, it should work. The only way to check is to run the game, and just scroll through the techs and see. If you got Icho's Omega Pack, you shouldn't need to look much to find out.
Omitted ship files? Did you DL the game, or buy it from CD?
Glad to see more people still starting to play. Don't forget to join an empire. It makes things a lot more fun because you get more of a community interaction. And don't forget to submit your score to compete! Join the Diplomats http://diplomats-empire.com The most active in the Meta! :)
I think it is a percentage of how much of the cost of the techs you need to win you have paid. Final Frontier is painfully expensive, so that is most of the percentage.
The PQ improvement is a percentage, so you will not notice an improvement of it for PQ planets below 20 for the 5% jump. The way the PQ bonus works is (Base PQ) times the bonus represented as 1.05%. For example 15 * 1.05 = 15.75. The game does not round up, so anything up to 15.99 will remain 15. You can get a better bonus as you research more improvements, or by building improvements. For example, a PQ 15 with a 5% bonus, Soil Enhancement (10%) and Habitat Improvement (10%), for a total of
It makes more sense for some cases. LOL ;)
No, no, no, no, no, no. I don't want the Metaverse reset whatsoever. I just want everyone's scores to degrade equally. I have said nothing about resetting the Metaverse, and want nothing of the sort.
Some of us have been wondering why some people seem to have scores that will not suffer recalcs? JaxomCA, Free Tibet, and Amulek have not had their scores degrade due to the passing of time with inactivity, but others, Aaberg and Jaws in particular, have suffered huge recalc hits. Are some people somehow immune to a recalc, or is there something else wrong with the Meta? Perhaps it is time for another manual recalc of everyone. :notsure: Thanks, VoT

This is great Brad. I love the list. Personally, I'd like to see a more interactive planetary combat missions. Diplomacy could also be a more in-depth procedure. Honestly, I don't have any ideas. But if it is possible to improve it, could it be added to the list too? On the types of weapons, the ideas are good, no question. But would the energy weapons have limited energy banks, or would it be unlimited? Also, would the missles have the same ammo limit, requring r
No, there is a backup program in SDC. Explore the directory, and the file is in C:/Program Files/Stardock/SDCentral/restore. That might be it, but it seems like the best candiate. Back it up in case I am horribly wrong, but I think this could help. Hey, Cari is back! :HOT: BTW, am I right? :) [Message Edited]
No, you can use whatever player name you want. So, you are submitting as gmt76, and whatever e-mail address you used. What virus scanner and anti-ad software are you using?
Sloth, just and idea, have you tried using that backup file in there somewhere? I fixed a problem with that some time ago. :notsure:
Glad to help. That's what I watch here for. :)
Have you double checked the e-mail address? If not, look to see if you have any blockers on your modem, they can cause problems. You may need to turn off your virus software to send it.
Go to http://www.wincustomize.com and update from there. It is fairly obvious where to go from there.
Nice to hear DW. BTW, I did that. Doesn't seem to be doing it though. I didn't restart it after doing that so that is probably the reason.
Would it be possible to add pause/resume buttons to SDCentral? With the new massive downloads it's not always possible to keep a steady connection for hour upon end or to keep the computer on for long enough
Its my understanding that it automatically resumes upon restarting if you lose connection. Also, how do you change the directory it installes to? It is installing to my C: drive, and I don't want it there, mostly because its out of room!
90-100K is about the best I get on a cable 10/100 wireless, and it seems to be more stable around those numbers. It used to sometimes fluctuate lower, but it definately is better now. :CONGRAT: :CONGRAT: :HOT:
Actually, you can download them now. But Disciples II is a Gig, so those with slow modems should have fun. It takes forever, even with 90K a second.
