Well, it appears that everyone misunderstood everyone else. Good to know. LOL Matthew, I do want to apologize since based on your comments, they were not warrented. I hope you accept them. But I do see one good thing about this: We're talking. 178 posts in what, under 5 days? Not too bad for the post-AP Meta. :) Now, lets forget this whole thing and go get drunk. Who's with me?! :HOT: :CONGRAT: :CONGRAT:

The reason I said that is that is seems like Downie is trying to bring the Guardians down. Tech, Newfy, I know you guys aren't trying to do that, you just want the top. But some of Matthew's comments bother me. Going back to look at what I said, I see that I could have said it better, but you can't say that some of Matthew's comments aren't distinctly anti-Guardian. I guess that those comments stuck in my mind, and when you guys decided to create an empire together, those surfaced.

Ok, guys this is madness. An anti-Guardians empire? This place is just happy competition, not dragging a bunch of good people through the mud because they have done well. Remember Renegade's little Yor empire because his fights with Terl? http://www.galciv.com/forum.asp?id=167914&BID=GE&page=1#168013 There's the thread. I've stopped this once, and I don't want to do it again. Its bloody idiotic. Play for fun, and try to get to the top, but don't intend to drag those at the top through the

Matthew, you call those references obscure? I got about a quarter of them. Or does that make me obscure? LOL LOL The Foundation sounds cool, but for a new empire in a place nearing the end of its operational life, it doesn't work well. Keep it in mind for GCII, and you have a cool name.

Looking for Marquesa, benjaminx, and The Real Mr. Beer. This is unfortunately a one week notice, because it has been 3 months since any of these people have been seen. If you seem them, please point them to the Embassy. Vision of Tomorrow

Ok, I have to agree with that there is a problem, but I think it really lies in the ability to lose score due to not submitting a game every 30 days. So here's a couple of ideas. Keep the 30 day block system, but if a block has a score of zero, drop the block. Less score crashing. But not the total solution that some want. Another idea, expressed earlier is to have the Meta be pure scores. But is that what you really want too? It would be quite a trick for people to get to the top

LOL LOL That doesn't sound like Stardock ruined it for you, but I say it did improve your standards. If you've got TG.net, try some of those. PM is good, as is DeciplesII I'm told. :)

The talks with North Korea will never suceed, because for them to work, we must completly cave, and we do not need to do that. North Korea demands huge amounts of metal, money and oil for giving up their nuclear reactors, not including their weapons that supposedly do not exist. And they threaten nuclear war if we do not agree to this. That is why we will be at war with North Korea. If Bush caves, that only proves that he does not know how to handl

I am personally afraid if Bush would tackle a real threat, like North Korea. I don't know if he could handle it. I am also convinced he could not handle the upcoming ROC-PRC war, which thanks to treaties, we must get involved in.

I think it is well done. Certaintly Stardock Quality. I wish you could play as an independant or better yet a third party, but I understand that they simply didn't have time. But other than that, I have no complaints. I think it was on beginner when I played it, and I swept every state, but I've tried higher difficulty in the past and had a much harder time, so the scale seems to be right for strength.

Well, they do pertain to what the people who intend to buy MoM2 when it hopefully comes out, myself included. And Stardock is well known to listening to what the people would like to see in their games. Just take a look at the GC2 thread, started by Brad Wardell himself, because he wanted us to know what he expected. Why else keep a running public journal. I'm glad they listen, the games certaintly wouldn't be the same. They would still be good, but I'd like to think we have helped make the
