I have a Nokia Lumia 820 and find it to be a more than reliable and adequate phone that all I need it t and more , and believe me, the slightly lower resolution screen will not detract from your enjoyment of its use, not in the slightest. The display is crisp and clear and is highly responsive to touch... like you could wear a glove and it is still responsive to to
I've been using Android phones for a long time now, and Linux even longer, but recently I have become something of a fan of Windows 8. I am running 8 on one of my laptops and have a Surface tablet. I really like it. I have been seriously considering dropping my Galaxy s3 Android phone for a Windows phone. As I am on Verizon and don't want to switch carriers I am currently limited to two phones, the HTC 8x and the Nokia 822. The HTC is arguably the higher end hardware and would

While not prescription, I started on the Niacin regime to control Cholesterol (mention it to someone who knows, and they tell you "Oh, so you know about hot flashes"). Since it was not prescription, my doctor had forgotten I was on it, and was surprised by my drop in Cholesterol level. So yea, if they do not prescribe it, they forget about i
Way to go, Mason. Nice work. Too bad there isn't a product, "Diet & Exercise", that you could sign a nice endorsement deal with. But man, without sick people, how'm I to survive?
A lot of the credit goes to MyFitnessPal. Their site and app made the difference for me.
Yeah, I finally got in again after starting from the top. I am very proud of all your hard work this past year. You made it work in spite of your schedules and now your certificate is for TWO years again! Nice to be on here again Mason. Have a great new week coming up. judy
Judy, glad to have you back!
Let's see - You are comfortable with who you are, and that is a man. Not many of those around these days. I would say a couple of ladies just liked what they saw. Happy new year!
Poor dears should really invest in some glasses LOL
Since it is snowing, perhaps it is best to just take it easy. We are only getting rain. But at least it is cooling down somewhat.
Yeah, I really didn't have much choice, All told, between Christmas, New Years, and the freaking blizzard I spent a total of ten days sitting around doing nothing but wait. I hate the holidays LOL
My wife got me one for Christmas. The one advantage I see on it is MS Office. But I have not played with it much. Now that I am back at work, I intend to play with it more.
Awesome gift. I've had a couple of weeks now to play around with mine, I agree that Office coming on it free is a great plus. I think the more you play around with it the more you're going to like it.
Glad to see you made it. Merry belated Christmas.
Thanks. I hope your holidays were great.
One year ago I went for my required D.O.T. physical to be medically re-certified to drive a commercial vehicle. At that time my blood pressure was above the maximum allowed and I was given 90 days to get it down or lose my certification to drive. My blood sugar was also borderline. I managed to just barely get the blood pressure under the limit and was only certified for one year instead of the normal two. That was my wake up call. <

If MS can change Windows than those companies can change as well.
I don't think so. The desktop API and the "Modern" or "Metro" API are different. I think the desktop model is going to stay if no other reason than to accommodate the third party business developers

I seriously doubt running of legacy applications will disappear from Windows if for no other reason than they have a huge business customer base that would refuse to ever upgrade to such a system as they rely heavily on those programs. It simply wouldn't make any sense.
The Asus is a very nice tablet. I had a Transformer until I dropped and broke it. I have a Surface and really like it a lot. I don't think you can wrong with either one. I really like the Touch Cover, very easy to type on and adds almost no weight or thickness. The Asus keyboard dock however does have an additional battery to power the tablet longer than it's internal battery. Advantages either way. Both are great machines.

As I am laid over since Friday I have been visiting a local watering hole. I have met several of the local regulars there, including several women. Tonight I was chatting again with one of the local women. Nothing special, just shooting the shit so to speak. When she was ready to leave she gave me a kiss. I was totally surprised by it. Up to that point I had thought she was a pretty intelligent and interesting woman, but now I question her judgement and taste LOL. I&
