faster is the one that gets me. everything i have bought since 1998 was faster than the last one and i am still sat here waiting. true one, from when i was doing support. chap rings up, machine will not come on. cable, socket, different socket, nothing. i ask him whether the little light on the front is lit. long pause. he says no, and the street lights are off as well.
the write click one is not a joke, i have taken that call. mine was a mouse that had stopped working, which turned out to be a mouse being held up at the screen like a tv remote. half this thread is puns and half is things that actually happened, and the things that actually happened hold up better. nobody has ever laughed at a light bulb joke the way they laugh at a man aiming a mouse at a monitor.
