I have tried it with all antivirus disabled.. any other ideas? whats odd.. is other software on stardock central works.. I d/l updates to my Galciv I and Altarian Prophecy, and they both d/l and installed fine.. I also have a pretty clean system these days because I use my pc for work.. so there is nothing odd installed or running..

DOWNLOAD/INSTALL PROBLEM in Galactic Civilizations II GalCiv2 Forums

I bought the game a few days ago and have not been able to install it. The problem I have is that Stardock central (ver 2.30c(b)) downloads the game file and then starts downloading the same file again. The file gc2.sdc. I have let it run and watched it download the same file 8 times.. Does anyone know how to fix this problem.. or is there another way to d/l the game.. I emailed Stardock support two days ago and havn't had a reply.. <
