Kona, I think that if you have a lot of original playstation games, you'd be better to get the PS2, as it is backwards compatible. I have had both the PS2 and xbox, and find the load speed of the xbox just marginally faster than PS2. In terms of online capability... they both are, but both require broadband access. hey.... my sympathies to you IP.. I did a 4 year apprenticeship with my dad when I was a lot younger. The moment I finished the apprenticeship I quit the job, and never returned to it. My dad's done it for more than 45 years, and still going. (a lot slower these days though) He's suffering all sorts of arthritic problems as a result of all that mixing & bending.
