Went to buy the Platinum Edition, and there, like a three-year-old rotting fish, was the StarForce DRM. I've avoided this since an earlier version crashed my operating system so hard I had to do a clean install. I'm happy to use Impulse, but if the publisher insists on punishing me for being their customer, I'll have to pass.
My sentiments exactly. I'd actually added it to my c

Running windows 7 64-bit, dual monitors. Game crashes on startup with default resolution. http://dl.dropbox.com/u/6290693/DxDiag.txt http://dl.dropbox.com/u/6290693/debug.err Changing fullscreen to 0 fixes it. Changing the resolution at all doesn't (Has to run in a window). I did read the notes that say it's been fixed, but I just patched right before testing this, and it's broken for me still.
Clean install, new (As of 2/28/10) install of Win7-64. Nvidia 220 GT. Most recent updates and drivers installed. Crashes to desktop immediately after trying to change the screen resolution to 1024x768. Running dual monitors, both running at 1280x1024. The only thing I could do to fix it was to change Fullscreen=0 in the prefs.ini file.

And they will also shoot back at you as they're travelling through if they can. I think maybe this could be tweaked so that there'd be an 'ignore neutral pirates' option. So your fleets wouldn't try to engage pirates that have no interest in attack
Hmm, tried that, still get that error. Also just tried with konquerer on my linux computer too. Ah well. I emailed support yesterday, hopefully they'll get back to me soon. :/
Hey, I bought a bunch of tokens and wanted to buy Sins and DA with them, but even though I have enough, I always get a "UserAgent cannot exceed 150 characters" error with both of them. Interestingly, I was going to buy another game with tokens and I could've swore I got an "Are you sure" type message. However I just now tryied to reproduce it with other games which resulted in the UserAgent error for those games as well. So far, I've tried buying the games with the St
