worked like a charm thanks!!!
cool. Thanks peterclark. I'l try this out tomorrow. Blame it on my overtaxed brain to not remember the exact video card on my system but as far as I can recall its an NVIDIA GeForce FX. If it worked on your Dell system then I'm quite certain it would work on mine as well. I'll keep you posted.
I just found a related problem. When I try to drag a desktop icon, it doesnt appear to be dragged (its not following my mouse cursor), but once I release the mouse button, the icon reappears in that position. I feel that this is related to the problem I'm having. If any of you can help, I'd appreciate it. Thanks.
if you think "The Ring" is creepy, you should try watching the original Japanese film "Ringu", from which it is based. The girl who came out of the TV was 10x creepier. And the sounds from the jap movie is spine tingling!!. Lots of eerie silence punctuated with simple yet effective sound effects at the right moments.
by the way, how do I remove the separator?
I tried your suggestions hashonboat, but unfortunately, the problem is still there.
yes, yes, and yes. its really strange.
ok, I've uploaded it as my desktop sorry, i didnt understand what you wanted me to do in the first post. Its there now.
I uploaded a screen shot of objectdock acting up during mouse hover in the screenshot section. Thanks. Do you have any idea what would cause it?
When I hover my mouse on the dock, the icons seem to disappear. Its like there's only a small square of visible area and as i hover my mouse from left to right, they disappear behind this "window". It looks OK when I'm not hovering my mouse on it. My screen res is 1280x1024, XP pro. any thoughts are welcome. Same thing happens with other dock programs. I am up-to-date with my video driver. Thanks.
