There was a UI mod in beta that did exactly what you want. As soon as we get past the connection problems and can use mods again. I assume this will be one of the first things that get released.

Glad you like the game. We hope you'll support Stardock and GPG and buy it. I think you'll find the investment well worth it. Welcome to the community.

Demigod does not require online activation ... If it did we wouldn't have all the pirates stealing the game. You only have to go online to get updates from Impulse. Unless you bought the digital version of the game, then yes *gasp* you have to login to download it. Clear enough? That said, the point Brad was making was even if all you had to do w

And that is the point we are trying to let you know about schlista. Those of us that have been with Stardock for a long time are very (!!) loyal. There is a reason for it. Give stardock a chance to fix the problems. Believe it or not, many of us can play MP just fine. It is very unfortunate that not everyone can play. The fact is, that Stardock and GPG are just as frustrated (probably more) that the game doesn't meet expec

For all those that say don't look at new demigods until you have the bugs fixed. REmember there are multiple types of people working on this game. They may want to start working on new Demigods so that the art team can get going. It doesn't always help to throw all your people on problems especially if they are not familiar with the area being worked on. So believe it or not, I am assuming that Stardock & GPG can multi-task. <p

[sarcasm]Could some please nerf all other players. I am slow [e digicons]X([/e] and everyone else is too fast. I make bad item decisions and I don't know what is the optimal order for buying things. So to make sure the game is fair, please nerf player response speed. I was in the beta, so its obvious that if I lose, we have to nerf it...[/sarcasm] [e digicons];P[/e] Honestly, I have lost equally to all manner of playe

Yes, the game is $40 for the digital download version, with that version you can play online without restriction. You will need to setup an impulse account (impulse is the digital download client - allows you to download the game), then using the same e-mail address you used to buy the game, you log into impulse and then you can download the entire game to your computer and it will notify you when updates are available. The networking of the game is pe

It won't ever happen. Impulse is part of the networking system the game is based on. Just like Dawn of War 2 will never be on impulse. Not that they don't want to share, but part of the game is based on that specific digital distribution platform. In this case, if you are unsure that impulse will be around in 5 years, 10 years, etc. I wouldn't worry about that. Stardock has been doing digital distribution a lot longer than steam/valve.&nbs
I must admit I was very disappointed not to get some sort of campaign and agree with the review that its a little light on content. I think we will get more content but sadly via mini expansions like Sins and not via patches.
Dathmar, I don't know why you think you won't get content via patches...that is Stardock's way of doing business. They've already said there are 2 mo

Personally, if I could buy all my games on Impulse I would. I have used Steam, Gamers Gate, direct2drive, and a few others... In my mind the flexibility and non-intrusive nature of Impulse makes it the best option. I don't hate Steam, but I find that Impulse is a much better fit for my style of gaming and software purchasing. The bonus to all this is I get to support a software publisher/developer that mak

OrleanKnight, You have captured my feelings almost exactly. I have confidence that they can make a casual gamer friendly game that also fulfills the needs of the gamer-by-profession type of person. For right now, I want a game I can play with my son and brother on a weekend and just have fun, I don't want something that is impossible to enjoy or "play correctly" without investing 20 hrs a week with it.

Is the game going to be multiplayer? If so, the pause whenever you want to change something idea won't really work. It'll have to be paused at a set time or full on real time with no pausing... Just a thought

Hey does anyone know how you can see the game options specifics. For example, I want to add a new choice in the game options for extreme planets. I wanted to see what each option means...i.e. frequent vs common vs occassional, etc. Does occassional mean 20% or 15%, or something else entirely.. Anyway, I was hoping this is a text file that I could mod. Does any one know?

In my opinion, Generals should not have control over the portal creeps. If they did, the game would be impossible to manage as an assassin opponent as the general could focus the creeps on specific building or hold them off and attack "en masse". Generals would be majorly overpowered if this happened. However, I see the generals having a small retinue of unique troops that are specific to their style/character. These troops should by default p
