That is a known issue with Windows 11. Here is a link to an article on the false notification for Windows Defender. https://www.windowslatest.com/2026/08/30/windows-11-is-warning-virus-protection-is-off-but-microsoft-confirms-its-false/
Here is the AI Overview from Google for that notification. <div class="OZ9ddf WAUd4" style="font-family: 'Google Sans', Roboto, Arial, sans-serif, 'Noto Color Emoji'; font-size: 14px; font-weight: 400; margin: -8px 0px 0px; text-decoration: none; border-bottom: 0px rgb(22, 23, 26);" data-copy-service-computed-style="font-family: "Google Sans", Roboto, Arial, sans-serif, "Noto Color Emoji"; font-size: 14px; font-weight: 400; margin: -8px 0p
Nope. No effect, hence my original post.
That's unusual. It works on my system everytime. As a test, open the AltTabby Config app and once open, right-click the AltTabby icon in the taskbar and select Pin to taskbar. Now choose Disable AltTabby and close the config app. Then click the AltTabby icon in the taskbar to open the config app and select a style. This should reestablish the AltTabby s
Yeah, that is what I see too basj, but why the change? I preferred the way it was.
Just a suggestion. You could create browser shortcuts to the Forum categories you frequent most often.
I honestly can't remember what was in the side panel before, but perhaps they should make the WinCustomize Forum similar to the Software Forum with the main categories listed at the top of the Recents as in Reply #1 above. EDIT: I just realized that if you click on a Category on the right column, it does display the main categories at the top. <img src="https://cdn.stardock.us/forums/69/28/6928565/d/7d041700-6ed8-4446-8be1-cb562ab4e502.jpg" alt="" width="471"
Sorry to hear you are having issues. But, I see this on my system.
Had to widen my browser window, and then what was displayed at the bottom jumped to the side as you pictured. Turns out I had my browser set at 110%.
If you go to WinCustomize Home and hover over Forums and then select View Forums, you get redirected to a page of Recent Posts. Now scroll all the way to the bottom and you should see a list of links to the Categories.
IN the WinCustomize Forum there is a list of all the categories at the bottom of the Recent Post page.
Yes. They appear to be making a few changes. This is what I see. Categories at the top. If you click the small arrow next to Stardock Software there are few more choices.
Wishing you the best on this special occasion! :d
I don't and never have used Core Isolation. As far as I'm concerned, it's unnecessary if you are vigilant with your security. One saving grace is that it doesn't like some older drivers, so many of those older PC's wont get it turned on. I believe this is why Microsoft has been focusing a lot of attention on hardware drivers lately. To get ready for this action of turning on Core Isolation. I remember, years ago, that Microsoft wanted to lock down the Kernel, but too many deve
EmberDial is awesome!
I asked because usually when an .ico or .png file has a black background, it's because the Alpha channel is missing, so it gets displayed as black. Files of .ico and .png types that are synced with OneDrive are notorious for this, and it has been going on for years. However, they usually display correctly on the Start11 menu.
Are your icons PNG files, and are they on OneDrive?

According to BleepingComputer the September Patch Tuesday update is important for everyone. "Today is Microsoft's September 2026 Patch Tuesday, with security updates released for a record-breaking 966 flaws, including two actively exploited zero-day vulnerabilities." This Patch Tuesday addresses 105 "Critical" vulnerabilities, 81 of which are remote code execution, 20 are elevation of privileges, 2 are information disclosure, and 1 security feature bypass." <span style="f
