I have to agree, Capri is one of my all time favorite skins of yours Tom. It's something about those colors that is just perfect for me.
I actually just thought of two things to say/suggest. First, I just wanted to put out one of the reasons I buy your themes for WindowBlinds. My first reason is because I think your themes are the most attractive and functional ones out there. But the other reason is simple, you give at least some portion of the sales to the sick and needy. So what does that last part mean? It means I am giving money to the sick and needy. To be sure, I wouldn't be gi
Hi Tom, I love your themes and am buying them, so perhaps my input isn't as valuable from the standpoint that I'm not a person who feels there is any problem with your WindowBlinds themes. I think the best I could do is perhaps give suggestions on what I might like to see from a 30,000 ft level. However you feel is best to either ignore or decide how best to incorporate any suggestions is the goal rather than my expecting I could dictate how you want to proceed.
Tom, Thank you as always for sharing your artistic creations. Beyond that though, it's really nice of you to share with everyone at least one free theme each release.
Tom, I am buying all these new premium skins, and have been because not only are your themes beautiful and creative, but they are highly functional. Kudos again for two more great themes!
I (and I'm sure all of those who enjoy your skins) are happy to wait. It will be worth it!
Hi Tom, I finally went looking for the reason I wasn't seeing premium Masterskins anymore. Now I know why. I'm glad you are still producing skins, and I will keep buying from you. I have sent you a couple of messages in the past. While I'm sure you will announce any webpage you may make in the future here, if you would, please message me and let me know what the URL is for said website. I hope you still get traffic for having your skins purchase
Thank you.
The Problem is only occurring with certain cursor themes. I don't know how many of the cursor themes that have the particular issue that myself and others have experienced, I know for a fact that Penthouse and Leawh themes are affected. In the case of the Leawh theme, I believe I had read by the author of it, or perhaps someone who had also made cursor themes around the time it originally
Picking back up on this as the issue has relied dormant for some time, Lightstar recently modernized the Penthouse WindowBlinds theme, so when I purchased it, then went to apply the Cursor for it, I had the same crash as others have described. I also tried Leawh and had the same issue occur. Allow me to get the preliminaries out of the way. I am using Windows 11 Pro 22H2 OS Build
Thank you very much!
Hi, Without posting examples, I wanted to ask if there is a process a user can make to enlarge start buttons. I would upload an example, but I don't wish to make it seem like I'm singling out any particular WindowBlind artist. Certainly, whatever way the WindowBlind artist made is what they intended, and I'm not critiquing them or their choice. I'm only talking about any methods I might take in order to make things the way I prefer. I'm sure most of us are aw
Oh, well at least it sounds like there is a workaround for now. That's better than nothing at all. Thank you!
Hi, Sorry if I was not clear before. I will post a screenshot as well as hopefully give you a better description. Using WindowBlinds 11 on Windows 11, none of my skins are showing the "skinned" clock in the toolbar. Instead they are showing the standard out of the box Windows 11 clock. Here is the way the clock on one skin is supposed to look (this image is from a WindowBlinds preview): <img src="https://cdn.stardock.us/forums/68/74/6874621/46340ae4
Hello everyone, I have done a search on this topic, and perhaps I'm going about "search" wrong, but I wasn't finding any hits to my query. Anyway, my WindowBlind Skins aren't skinning the clock in WindowBlinds 11 on Windows 11. I'm just seeing the generic Windows clock that comes with Windows. Is this a current issue with Windows 11? Or might there be something wrong on my end? In the event it is something on my end, what would I do to resolve this is
Hey Andy, I didn't want to discuss this on your sales page, so I thought I'd message you hear. If this is an inappropriate place to post the sort of post I'm about to post, forgive me. Please direct me to where I should ask this question. I am on Windows 11, and I've noticed this issue with not only this blind, but pretty much all the blinds. I am not seeing your (or anyone else's) clock display as you made the blind. I'm only getting a generic white cl
Mine is 14.9 Gbs. I have the room on my C drive, but I suppose I'm just paranoid about losing too much space. From looking at the folder, I feel I could comfortably place the skins on my C drive where WindowBlinds is installed. I guess I was too paranoid because I knew it was a pretty hefty amount of data. That's why I install most of my programs and games to other large SSD's in my system. I figure if I didn't have that policy for progr
Hello, As a person who has accumulated many skins over the years while using WindowBlinds 10, it became necessary for me to place all of my WindowBlinds skins on a separate drive from the drive WindowBlinds was installed to. I was able to do this thanks to RedneckDude listing for me all of the registry changes I needed to make in order for everything to work smoothly. I am very grateful to him, because he went the extra mile for me. Now that WindowBlind
Thank you DaveRI! I wasn't looking in my WindowBlinds directory. I was assuming it would be listed within its own Skin Studio directory (of which there are a few directly under a Stardock directory. In retrospect with my error message saying that it should be in my "skins" directory I might have extrapolated that it would necessarily be in a WIndowBlinds folder. It looks like my problems are solved!
Ok, You guys are going to kill me now (LOL). As I stated, I have relocated my WindowBlinds Skins to another drive. Sure enough, after installing skin studio, an error occurred. The installation went fine, I installed it to the default locations. The problem was when I launched the program. When I did, I got the following pop-up message: <img src="https://cdn.stardock.us/forums/68/74/6874621/f8408dbe-0647-4b90-98b9-e54f27bb3f7d.png" alt="
I did what JanOscar suggested and under individual products, Skin Studio was listed, so thank you JanOscar! I will watch the video basj uploaded, and hopefully it will help. Thank you for doing that. Just as an aside, I wouldn't mind all the individual programs being listed in a nested dropdown in the Object Desktop program itself. It would be nice to be able to download individual programs that are adjacent/included with products
