I have one skin that I'm dorking with (I'll leave out the name since this same situation can affect many skins.) The skin is ideal, but the background color of the textboxes are blue. I'd prefer the standard white for working in things such as Word or Excel. Is there any way to change a single color in the skin? The Windows "Appearance" tab doesn't seem to be of much help here. I've also read that unlike the x86 64-bit variants (Itanium) the G5 does not suffer a loss in performance by running 32 bit software. Basically it's a "run what you got" processor. I can't wait to see this in practice.
Figured it out. You have to set the option in StarDock Central's "Settings ..." menu to "Show pre-release" items. (Thanks to whoever it was on USENET that pointed this out to me.) I didn't know that this particular option had existed.
Has anyone yet figured out how to get a version that works on Windows 2000? (I'm still getting the message that the version on StarDock Central is for WinXP only)
