I have seen some Ais get some food by improving Monsatium deposits, or in some cases getting farmers (and placing them where they have the Monsatium) and that's how they get to built cities, but YMMV.
This sounds so good. I especially like the idea of town->city->megatropolis. Farms, factories, labs, etc already work this way, why population shouldn't? Please share your mod whenever you can :)
I made some more tests, and with that AI Governors (those for the homeworld I left untouched) I brought the AI to building also advanced farms by turn 275: AIManufacturing AIManufacturing_Name AIManufacturing_Dec <br /
To me, I see it as a feature now. Some randomness is ok. The puzzle that is the placement of improvements in any planet is enhanced by by the the capitol being a random pick. Life isn't fair, kiddo. :)
Am I missing anything by not playing the base game?
No, as I understand Crusade is an expansion that introduces many more mechanics. The base game has a different play style but it has fewer features. If you go and play it after you have played Crusade, it's going to feel like the game has been cut.
I have resolved the problem. Check my reply #2. The solution is in modding the file GovernorDefs.xml Add the following Food Food Population near the top of each list. I have added another Population near the bottom, and another two in
Hi, I have been playing for 50 hours now, and I also don't remember seeing a single AI farm or city. So I went back with the console enabled with fow and god commands to see if there were any farms in my saved games. I didn't see any single farm nor city. Since I'm just a noob, those 50 hours were an absolute blast and I already got my money back, but I will rather install a mod or wait for this to be fixed. Frogboy said you can just open a text file and change t
Hi, I'm on my second play-through of the game (easy mode) and I have noticed that while my opponents had many military-only starbases, I was never attacked by them. I could just go on and conquer the planets. After I conquered every planet of the opposing faction, the starbases would dissapear. So what's the purpose of having them? I understand when they are suppose to mine resources or boost a planet production, but is there any reason to have them just for military reasons?&
Hi, I have just started to play the game and I'm having a blast. I'm playing with a large map and with 7 opponents. I'm a little over 10 hours and half the galaxy discovered and I still haven't found durantium anywhere. No other faction has ever listed durantium when I want to trade for it. The most annoying thing about this is that the military academy requires one durantium so, so far the only way I can train legions is with training a general. My question is,
Again with the horses example. Just take a look at how horses live in develop countries. They have the best possible life ever. They do not work, they are the focus of rich people who love them and care them to degrees most people would ever dream of. All of that is exactly the result that horses don't have to work anymore. Same thing with dogs, just a fraction of them work right now. Just take a look at how cheap leisure is right now. Games are cheap or free, Netflix is o
This is even greater if you're a woman. When almost every man is a possible threat, guns level the field in a way nothing else can. If feminists had common sense, they would be the biggest advocate for guns.
