IS IT JUST ME in Sins of a Solar Empire Stardock Forums

O.K. I have been playing sins for a while now and was very comfortable playing the game until i downloaded the lastest upgrades.. Now it seems i cant do anything right with this game!!!!! Is it just me or did this game get really hard... even on easy level, i finding myself outgunned and overwhelmed any help with tactics would be helpful
