Chickens ;) Cheers for the advice. I have just read some of the backstory and it seems these Draginor types are quite powerful to say the least. I'll be destroying them from now on. I agree they are not really worth the hassle, especially because every turn you have a core race pleading for your help in the battle. Out of interest can they also randomly appear on AI planets?

Not sure if they are always called the Draginor or the name is random, but in two of my games so far I, and the other core races, have been wiped out utterly by these guys. I get the message "Something evil is growing on planet ..." (or something similar) - at first I ignored it, but the second time I built a big orbital defence force around the planet listed. About when I am starting to build battleships, the Draginor appear on the planet and take it over instantly, no battle or anything - my f
