Same here, i spent an hour trying to register with different names/passwords and it never worked (got mine from Amazon). Later...by sheer luck...i remembered my old username/password from Gal Civ(1st one) and it went through...wtf? Superb game btw, good luck guys:-)

:notsure: After all this time (since release) i just had my first CTD at the planetary management screen. I had like 15 planets, had just tweeked them all, and when i closed the screen...BAM. I didn't save for awhile, sleepy, but lucky for me the autosave(12 turns) saved the last turn :sniff!:

:) I played a couple games with it and i got a tech like an advanced hyperdrive. i forgot the exact name...universal/uni...dunno but man my ships were sailing across the screen. My trade income soared $$$$.

:sniff!: I cancelled my pre-order with them many times in the past. For games always use EB! they had Galciv the day before their ship date. Check this out...I forgot to cancel my pre-order with Amazon/Galciv and a week later it still said "usually ships in 2-3 days".You owe yourself this game/next day delivery :CONGRAT:

:notsure: I started out the same way. Then I just decided to give it a rest and do some research on this forum. Then I found Java's website and that helped alot. After that I started from scratch and am having a ball! Your not going to master a game like this over time but you can master it.

;p How many times have you had an AI by the "@#%&$" and then boom, you lose? I was shocked the first time the AI got sneaky on me and "left me for the other man". This game is like a rollercoaster, enjoy the ride LOL I love this game...MOO what?

This game is made the way ALL games should be. I have played every tbs made since the dark days and this game is in the top 2%(IMHO). It took me a whole weekend to figure this one out but once I did...awesome!!! You can be Evil and win alone you just have to be..."Evil" LOL

:) I research all the trade options first thing and even playing as evil I'm able to have 52% happiness and a 40 tax rate with 5000+ in the bank. I just nudge the slider once in awhile to keep a 10+ flow. Meanwhile I'm killing everything that moves LOL except my "dear" trade partner.

:notsure: In my games when you get the message "that's too far" I send my ship/ships one sector closer and then "all of a sudden" they can go on from there. I don't know if it's a bug but I have been able to send constructors etc... all over the map.

Doh! I won again! in Galactic Civilizations I Stardock Forums

(:( I was two upgrades away from finishing my "terror star" and two planets converted to me and boom...Cultural victory. I want death, not culture >:( Great game! Took me a whole weekend to figure this one out but a week later( 5 games) I'm kicking butt!!!
