Where is the combat happening? in GalCiv Beta Feedback GalCiv3 Forums

Greetings I have been playing against AI, while I learn the game. During turn processing when an enemy encounters my unit(s), the view is only confirm battle. While the fuzzy backround does jump to the location on the map, I still have very little idea where the combat is, and what forces are involved. I am missing something?
