Nah, I meant the 'Citizen' label. I found where to change that though.
Additionally, you must have a 'character' set up already Go to the Metaverse site, hover over 'Account' and click 'Edit My Characters'. Then, and only then, will you be able to join an Empire. Go Browncoats!

As I said in another thread, the assumption is that if you click on 'Galactic Civilization II' and Update, it should get *everything*. It's counter-intuitive to force people to expand the tree and get each seperately. Ah well... lesson learned. I'll know for next time.
I am having the same problem. However, I realized I had forgotten to download any of the Tutorials/Movies/Multimedia sections. I am trying that now. Is it possible you didn't get Multimedia? Suggestion: My assumption was that if I downloaded by selecting 'Galactic Civilizations II," it would download the entire she-bang.
