Does anybody else have aproblem with object bar and games? in WinCustomize Talk WinCustomize Forums

I mean it seems when I have object bar running, it likes to mess up most games. Is it cause it is trying to go ONTOP of the game screen? All I REALLY want is a program similar to object bar that people can either skin or sutomize colors at least that will dock exactly like the start menu to where nothing goes over it EXCEPT games. I like having a button to click and it opening my own personal menu like the mac bar kinda. Any suggestions? I'm gonna go try it once more now that I just formatted my

Thanks Weaksid, I'll look into it...I'm trying my first sys metrix theme now since I can't seem to find one I like. harder than I thought. I can't seem to get the outline of magic pink off images.

ok, here's my take on this. I love the free part of this website. It sux that it dropped to 50mb when it seems like the other day it was 150mb but I do understand that something has to pay for this site. But some of us REALLY can't afford it. I DO have a sugestion though. For skinners there is no cap correct? well to tel you the truth, I'm trying to learn how to skin. I got an xp problem too...with games in WinCustomize Talk WinCustomize Forums

No games seem to run right...even brand new games... I tried disabling sysmetrix, (helped a lil) excluding the games from window blinds (also helped a lil) but it still does wierd things...like if I'm looking at a map in the game and I click towards the bottom of the screen, it thinks I'm clicking the windows task bar!! what the heck is going on? Surely somebody else had the same problem with games, I mean I have a pretty nice computer...can somebody please help? I really don't wanna stop using

I understand the maintenence but this really bites.. I come on here every morning (with fingers crossed) hoping that the libraries are back up and still free. I mean is it REALLY necessary to shut down libraries for NON-SUBSCRIBERS to FIND a way to expand that database? Not trying to start an argument or anything...just curious...

THANKS da_zman20!!! That was most of the problem! I didn't even know windowblinds had that option. Thanks for the help. Games still run a LIL slower than normal but It's all good. as long as that annoying p[erformance lag and wierd blinking boxes are gone and I keep my skin I'm good ta go. Thanks again all. And yeah weaksid I tried that first.

Ok well lowering the acceleration didn't help at all however I DID find out that even when I unloaded everything it still did it for some stupid reason...AND it only seems to happen with two out of 4 games...the two cheapest...Medal of honor and whiteout run fine but sniper and test drive have a few probs...no big deal as long as my GOOD games work ok and it's only in the video parts of the games not the actual play...thanks though, oh and different virtual desktops doesn't help either

Problem running games when skins are running in WinCustomize Talk WinCustomize Forums

I notice that during ALL game videos or sometimes during games themselves I get wierd screen blinks like a little white box blinking in bottom left corner etc... I have a 64mb Video card, latest drivers for EVERYTHING, a fast computer, plenty of hard drive space, latest direct x etc...there should be no reason for this and it only happens if I have like a windowblinds skin running or sysmetrix etc...with docked stuff on I guess....any ideas? maybe a second virtual desktop or something? somebody
